## What is Yamadori?

Yamadori is a quiet place — a tiny nursery on a walkable little world where bonsai grow in real time, over real days and weeks.

Walk the hills and find wild trees: junipers, maples, pines, elms. Dig the one that speaks to you, pot it, and raise it on your bench. Prune it, wire its branches, repot it as it thickens. A tree's shape is the record of your decisions — no two ever grow alike.

THE PRACTICE
• Dig wild trees from the mountainside (the real practice is called yamadori)
• Prune, pinch, wire, and repot at your own pace
• Shape clay and fire your own ceramics at the kiln
• Trees age in real time — days and weeks, not timers

A LIVING WORLD
• Feed the koi each day and watch for rare colors
• Catch crickets and cicadas; set a cage by the wild water
• Tame wild horses, breed them, and ride the hills
• Furnish your house and arrange your nursery your way

NO NOISE
• No ads, ever
• No energy bars, no countdowns
• A visit takes about as long as a cup of tea
