The phone should just connect to the bike without having to go through an app. One issue I continue to have is that it resets my clock every time I use the app. Which is only about once every few months because this app is not worth using generally speaking it’s mostly just for data collection for Yamaha and for no other purpose for the user. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever. *2026-08-15, version 3.8.0* It will take all your access and still not working after new update of IOS. This means that whatever travel is recorded is usually recorded in multiple short segments and rarely records the full distance travelled. Unfortunately, I have not been able to use these features for the last 2 months. A feature that was one of the main reasons for buying this bike has become completely unusable. I have already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling the app, reconnecting Bluetooth, and resetting the connection, but nothing has worked. This is very disappointing because customers pay extra for these connected features and expect them to work reliably. If this is a known issue, please release a fix as soon as possible. If there is any alternative application or temporary solution available, please let us know instead of leaving customers without a working feature for months. I bought this Yamaha bike specifically because of these smart features, but for the last two months I have not been able to use them at all.
