## What is Yamanoha?

Yamanoha is a diorama set in beautiful Japanese scenes.  Add a portrait of your family to add into each immersive scene

Tilt your phone and the scene has real depth. Grass sits on the glass, a family stands in the middle distance, and mountains and sky fall away behind them. The box has its own walls, painted with the scene continuing round the corner, so you are looking into a volume rather than sliding pictures past each other.

ELEVEN SCENES
A valley at golden hour, with a train that crosses when you ask it to. A night harbour full of fireflies. Rain on a shrine approach. Spring blossom over a river town. Autumn maples on the terraces. Tea fields under a snow-capped mountain. A lavender hill under the Milky Way, with the observatory open. A lighthouse on a cape as a squall clears. A cedar forest with a waterfall and a deer. Paper lanterns going down a river at dusk. Wisteria over the shrine bell.

EACH ONE HIDES SOMETHING
The brass plaque tells you what tapping does, and no two scenes do the same thing. Call the butterflies up off the clover. Trace a constellation while a meteor crosses. Sweep the lighthouse beam. Send rings of shaken leaves out through the forest. Set a paper lantern adrift. Ring the bell and watch the sound spread over the rain.

YOUR OWN FAMILY, IN THE BOX
Choose a photo and everyone in it gets a hand-drawn stand-in, pets included. Two people gives two figures; six people and two cats gives eight. Hair, build, height and clothing are worked out from the picture, and anything it gets wrong takes one tap to fix.

The photo is read entirely on your phone. It is never uploaded and never kept.

SAVE THE VIEW
Keep a picture of the box as a spatial photo, which holds its depth on devices that can show it.

No accounts. No advertisements. No tracking. Nothing is collected, ever.

Every leaf, lantern and mountain in Yamanoha is drawn in code rather than photographed, which is why it is a small download and why it stays sharp at any size.
