## What is YAMM!?

YAMM — Idea Assemble

Small notes become big ideas.

What you write outlasts what you remember — and combining makes it grow.

Most note apps stop at writing things down. YAMM begins after you've written them.

When an idea strikes, jot it down on your phone right away. No onboarding, no loading screen — you can start typing the moment you open the app, and the keyboard stays up after you save, so your train of thought never breaks.

When you finally have time to focus, open the board in a browser on any PC or tablet on the same Wi-Fi. Nothing to install, no sign-in. Your phone itself becomes the server and serves the board straight to the big screen. Connect with a shared link or QR code, type in the address by hand, or plug in over USB.

Spread your scattered notes across the canvas like cards, then stack two together to merge them into one. Mine the merge for a fresh idea and turn it into a derived note — the originals stay right where they are. Split them apart anytime and lose nothing.

No account, no cloud, no server. Every note lives only on your device — nothing collected, nothing tracked, no ads.

How to Add the Lock Screen Widget
(1) Open the app once right after installation. This prepares the data required for the widget.
(2) Swipe down on the screen to open Search, then search for and open “Shortcuts.”
(3) In the Shortcuts app, tap the “+” button in the top-right corner to create a new shortcut.
(4) Tap “Add Action,” then search for “YAMM.”
(5) Select the “Add Memo” action and save the shortcut.
(6) Long-press the Lock Screen, then tap “Customize.”
(7) Select “Lock Screen,” then tap the widget area below the clock.
(8) Add the “Shortcuts” widget, then assign the YAMM shortcut you just created.
(9) Tap “Done” to finish setup.

You no longer need to open the app just to add a memo.
Enjoy a faster and more convenient way to capture your notes and ideas.

- Better hotspot support — Fixed PC connections failing over personal hotspot on modern (IPv6-only) carrier networks. Share link and QR now work everywhere, with clear in-app guidance when typing an IP isn't possible.

- System text-size conflict fixed — Large system fonts no longer break the layout; adjust text size in the app's own settings.
