## What is Yanvara?

Yanvara turns one sentence into a complete, day-by-day travel plan — real venues, opening hours, weather, budgets, packing and bookings you can actually make. Describe the trip you want ("10 relaxed days in Japan in April, mid-range, flying from Melbourne") and watch the whole thing build in front of you.

EVERY TRIP INCLUDES:
• Day-by-day itinerary with real restaurants, sights and experiences — ordered so the day actually works
• Live weather outlook and the best months to go
• A budget broken down by category, in your own currency
• Flights and drives between cities, worked out for you
• Packing list mapped to the forecast, the route and what you're doing each day
• Visa requirements and official safety advisories for your passport
• Everything available offline — planes, trains, and anywhere with no signal

BOOK THE RIGHT THINGS:
• Real, bookable tours and experiences with traveller ratings, photos and from-prices
• Hotels with their actual star classification, not a rounded review score
• Every suggestion marked Verified or Estimate, so you know what we checked
• An advance-planning calendar for the things that sell out

NEAR YOU:
• Open Yanvara in any city and get the best real places within walking distance, open right now
• "Plan my afternoon" builds an ordered walkable route in one tap
• Weekend getaway ideas from wherever you are, with the dates already filled in
• What's on this fortnight, a currency converter, tipping guide and phrasebook

PLAN IT YOUR WAY:
• Refine any day or single activity with AI ("make day 3 cheaper", "add a food tour")
• Chat with the trip assistant to reshape the whole plan
• Voice input — describe your trip out loud
• Share a view-only link, export a PDF, or add the days to your calendar
• Plan together: invite collaborators to view or edit

YANVARA PRO Unlimited AI-planned trips, advanced refinements, the assistant, the Near-you concierge, weather-mapped packing, document storage with AI extraction, and collaborators. Monthly and annual plans are available — the annual plan works out cheaper per month. Your local price is shown in the app and in the In-App Purchases section above before you buy. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings. Every new account starts with a 7-day free Pro trial — no payment required.

Your trips sync with yanvara.com, so you can plan on a big screen and travel with the app.

### 5/5 — Good trip planner

*2026-08-28*

Nice app and easy to use, the verified version of the venues and near you is also amazing handy features

**Developer response:** Thank you, Manu — this made our day! Verified and Near You are exactly the parts we care most about: a Verified badge means the venue was checked against real place data, so what you see is what's actually there — and when we can't verify something, we say "Estimate" instead of pretending. Lots more coming. And if a plan ever misses the mark, the Assistant tab can reshape any day in seconds. Happy travels!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.11 — 2026-09-10

NEW OUTFIT, SAME BRAIN
Every icon in the app has been swapped for a colourful 3D set, and the bottom bar got a glow-up to match. It is the same Yanvara underneath, just no longer dressed like a spreadsheet.

HOTEL PRICES THAT ARE ACTUALLY PRICES
Nightly rates now come from real, bookable inventory and carry a "Live rate" mark when they do. If your exact dates had nothing, the card says which month it priced instead of quietly pretending.

THE BUDGET NOW KNOWS YOU ARE NOT TRAVELLING ALONE
It used to price a family of four like one very hungry person. It now multiplies by everyone going, shares rooms sensibly, says which basis it used, and the Trip menu and the Budget tab finally agree on the total.

THE FREE PLAN STOPS SAYING NO
Your monthly free trip now replaces your saved one instead of hitting a wall, and the app tells you which trip before anything is generated.

THE ASSISTANT GREW A BUTTON
Ask it to make a trip shorter, cheaper or start somewhere else and it hands you the button that does it, instead of describing work it never did. It also opens on your latest message, not your first one from three weeks ago.

ALSO
• The composer asks when your prompt gives two different trip lengths, rather than guessing
• Guided setup, for when the blank box is the hard part
• Real, bookable tours on destination guides
• One PDF, the same one the website makes, and the button shows it is working
• Home tells you when your Pro trial is running out
• The app stops offering Pro for things Pro cannot fix
• Every trip shows in your list, even the ones from months ago

### 1.4.6 — 2026-08-31

IF THE LAST UPDATE SIGNED YOU OUT, THIS FIXES IT
The previous version could sign you out and then refuse a password that was perfectly correct. That was a bug in our code, not a problem with your account. Update and you should simply find yourself signed in again — and if you already deleted and reinstalled the app to get back in, nothing was lost. Sorry for the trouble.
SEE WHAT OTHER TRAVELLERS ACTUALLY CHOSE
Some places now carry a quiet line: “Chosen by 23 travellers planning Tokyo”. It counts real Yanvara itineraries, so it is not a star rating and not a review — it is what people building the same trip as you kept in their plan. A venue has to be picked by at least five different travellers before it says anything at all, which is why most cards stay silent. Look for it on your day cards, in Bookings, and in Near You.
YOUR PLAN, DESCRIBED PROPERLY
Free includes one new trip a month, and refining the trips you already have stays unlimited: swap a day, change the pace, ask for somewhere cheaper, as often as you like. The app now shows that allowance while you are composing, counts it properly during your free trial — which showed no counter at all before — and, if you do reach it, tells you which limit you met rather than a vague apology.
ALSO
• The trial screen has stopped promising “unlimited planning”. It now says what the trial really is: one trip, every Pro feature unlocked, refined as often as you want
• Fixed a crash that happened while your phone was locked in your pocket and you were not even using the app. iOS wakes us up in the background now and then, and we were asking the Keychain for something it will not hand over until you unlock. It waits its turn now
• Fixes across the composer and the upgrade screens

### 1.4.4 — 2026-08-28

ONE BEST PICK, NOT THREE
Every day used to hand you three hotels, three dinners and three tours to compare. Now it opens with the best-rated one and keeps the rest behind a "+". On a twelve-day trip that was well over a hundred small decisions to make before you'd even packed.

WE ASK NOW, INSTEAD OF GUESSING
Leave out how long you're going, or roughly when, and Yanvara asks once — with both answers already filled in, so agreeing is a single tap. It used to simply decide for you: confidently, and not always correctly.

WHAT IT COSTS AT THE TILL
Your budget still totals in your own currency, and now shows the destination's alongside it, including a per-day figure. "A$13,775" is a useful number at home and a useless one at a South African checkout.

THE FLIGHT HOME IS NO LONGER FREE
Flying into one city and home from another? The budget priced that second ticket at exactly $0 — optimistic, even for us. On a Melbourne–Sydney–Auckland test trip the honest total was A$620, not A$445.

ALSO
• Trips are priced in the currency you actually earn in. Say "from Perth" and you get Australian dollars — not US ones, and definitely not pounds
• Day screens carry fewer cards, so there's less to load before you can read your plan
• Fixes across the itinerary, Budget and composer

### 1.4.3 — 2026-08-24

YOUR PAPERWORK, READ FOR YOU
Add a passport or an e-ticket — as the actual PDF, straight from Files, not a photo of a screen — and Yanvara reads out the details: flight numbers, times, expiry dates. Your passport can set which entry requirements you see; your booking can set your travel dates. It always asks first.

AFTER THE TRIP
A finished trip greets you with its recap — the route, the numbers, the highlights, wearing the trip's own photo — and now it goes somewhere: rate how it went, share it, or start planning the next one. If the dates were only our suggestion, it asks whether you went and sets the real ones in a tap.

ONE TIDY SHEET
Trip actions used to be a long list of look-alike rows. Now Share, Copy link, PDF and Offline sit up top as quick tiles, the rest is grouped, and one "Add to calendar" explains the real choice — a live calendar subscription that follows trip changes, or a one-off file.

THE NUMBER YOU ACTUALLY WANT
Thailand, Egypt and Greece now show their English-speaking tourist-police line beside the general emergency numbers — several of which were corrected.

ALSO
• Home cards name the destination, not a clipped sentence
• Adding a packing item or logging a spend closes the keyboard and confirms it saved
• The composing screen fills the whole phone
• Shared trips appear in Trips with a "Shared · edit" badge
• Stability fixes across the itinerary, Budget and Near-you screens
