Advanced conversation translation, in your own voice, with minimal lag and crosstalk. The smoothest conversation translator app ever. Use one phone, or many. Two of you can share a single phone with an earbud each, so the left and right earbuds speak different languages. Or every speaker joins on their own phone, with their own microphone and their own earbuds, and a whole group talks across languages at once. Both setups are supported, and both are free: • One phone, an earbud each. Hand the other person an earbud and start talking. Anything either of you says is translated for the other automatically, with nobody pressing anything. No earbuds handy? Both languages play out loud. • Sound like yourself. Your translations can be spoken in your own voice, in any of the 49 languages, so what reaches the other person still sounds like you. • Hear it mid-sentence. Translation starts while the other person is still speaking, instead of waiting for them to finish. • Talk and listen at the same time. Nobody takes turns with a device, and nobody waits for a translation to finish before answering. People can work in tandem, the way a real conversation actually runs. • No crosstalk. With a phone each, everyone hears their translation through their own earbuds, so one person's audio never bleeds into someone else's microphone. • Partner and group conversations. Each speaker picks their own language, so up to 8 people on their own phones can hold a single conversation in 8 different languages. This one can speak them in your voice. Read one short passage aloud, about twenty seconds, and the app builds a voice that sounds like you. From then on your translations are spoken in that voice instead of a stock one, in any of the 49 languages, including the ones you have never spoken a word of. The people you are talking to hear your words in their language, still sounding like you. Your recording is kept on your phone. A copy is sent to Fish Audio to speak your translations and is never stored on a server, so deleting the app deletes the voice. Free credits are included, so you can hear it before buying anything. A saved voice with no name showed as the standard voice on everyone else's screen, so a cloned voice looked as though it had never been applied. Changing your own voice mid-call now works in a two-phone room, not only on one phone. The language list starts with the ones you have chosen before, and no longer hides a language somebody in the room is already speaking. ### 1.2.30 — 2026-09-07 Wording, not features. The home screen and this listing used to promise conversations with no lag and no crosstalk at all. Both can still happen on a real call, so the app now says they are kept to a minimum instead of claiming they are gone. ### 1.2.29 — 2026-09-06 On iPhone, translations were coming through too quietly. Recording was pulling the whole app onto the phone-call audio path and taking the volume down with it. Fixed, and translations start sooner now too. Setting up a voice is no longer stuck in one language: the passage you read aloud has a language picker above it, so you can be recorded in the language you actually speak, any of the 49. Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu now read right to left, the way they should. And when your credits run out the app says so and offers a top-up, instead of quietly slipping back to the standard voice. ### 1.2.28 — 2026-09-03 You can now translate on one phone. Give the other person an earbud, pick their language, and start talking: anything either of you says is translated for the other automatically, mid-sentence, with nobody pressing anything. No earbuds handy? Both languages play out loud instead.
