There should be a “you might like” suggestion on the bottom of the event. Events should be able to be tagged. Would be great to be able to create group and group chats, as well as group notifications and schedule tagging. Nice app for event organizer but not useful for teams or groups who don't already have slack or group calendar tools to help their teams stay in touch or to coordinate specific event schedules. There are two features I'd love to see in a future release: 1. The option to "like" posts in the news feed 2. I recommend it to everybody! :D ### 5/5 — IOS 9 not working *2015-09-17, version 4.0.0* This app is awesome except that since I updated to iOS 9 I can't refresh my news feed. ### 2/5 — Yapp for verizon promos *2015-07-02, version 4.0.0* I don't know what all the Yapp is about? I'm a sales consultant for Best Buy and our verizon rep had me download this app to be up to date on all verizon promotions and it supposedly updates instantly. Well some week old promotions didn't apparently update and resulted in a customer disappoint. I'd avoid using this app. For current and correct promo info refer only to Best Buy approved guides. This review was written under the scope as a Verizon promotion guide tool. I'm sure the app has many great other functions that have nothing to do with Verizon. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Very hard to get in *2026-05-13* It is not intuitive and difficult to even start ### 1/5 — Need Facebook App *2022-04-25* Works generally well, but to use Yapp with your Facebook ID, the app has to pair with the Facebook App. For my event i need to log out of my Facebook profile in the Facebook App and back in as the Facebook Profile for the conference. Very inconvenient. ### 1/5 — Terrible, buggy app. Stay away *2017-04-11, version 6.1.16* Nothing but FRUSTRATION when trying to deal with this app. It never recognizes that you have already downloaded a "Yapp app", and then sometimes randomly, the Yapp app gets deleted and you have to go through the entire process all over again. Tried a bunch of stuff, but still messed up. Restarted. Deleted app. I still have about 50% of my phones cycles. It's like something else is running and taking all it's time. It only receives about 1 out of 5 of my screen taps, and tap and hold it doesn't work at all. As an event coordinator, this app has everything I could possibly need to keep everything easily organized for my attendees, which has significantly cut down the amount of questions I have to answer during the event. It’s completely user-friendly both for the organizer and the attendees. Setting everything up was super smooth and streamlined, but also not so uniform that I was able to customize pages to fit my needs. From the attendees perspective, I received lots of compliments on how easy it was to use and how helpful it was to have. Not to mention, the creators are very responsive—quick, patient, and incredibly helpful. If you’re debating between several platforms, make it easy on yourself and just download this one.
