Tap the clock icon at the top left. Every dictation is saved for 3 days, and the voice recording is kept for 24 hours so you can play it back or transcribe it again if the words came out wrong. Copy, Play, Transcribe and Polish are all one tap on each card. Everything stays on your iPhone and deletes itself automatically. Know which microphone you are on. A small line under the record button now names the mic actually in use, and YapText asks for your external mic when one is attached. Before this, a Bluetooth mic could be ignored without you knowing. A warning when a recording is too weak. If your voice was close to the background noise, YapText now tells you instead of handing you words it may have guessed. Tap Transcribe again on the saved recording to retry it. Make your own tone buttons. Settings > Tone Buttons > Add a Tone. Describe how you want your words rewritten and it becomes a button. Put the buttons in your own order. Drag any button anywhere. Your own tones and the built-in ones are one list, so what you use most can sit first.
