Every week, I eagerly wait for Friday Khutbah, feel deeply inspired by The First, and find immense spiritual nourishment in Qur’an 30 for 30. This app has not only strengthened my faith but also deepened my understanding of Islam in ways I never imagined. Coming from a conflict-affected country, I never had the luxury of attending a Friday Khutbah in person. But through Yaqeen, I’ve been able to experience the wisdom, guidance, and spiritual connection that so many take for granted. Each khutbah has been a source of comfort and clarity, helping me navigate faith in a world that often feels overwhelming. Shaykh Omar Suleiman has truly been a gift to this Ummah. His ability to bring the Seerah to life in The First has given me a profound appreciation for the Qur’an and the life of our beloved Prophet ﷺ. Now, when I read the Qur’an, I do so with context—I understand the events, the struggles, and the wisdom behind the revelations. It has transformed my connection with the Book of Allah, allowing me to reflect on it with greater clarity and depth. What makes Yaqeen truly special is how the Mashayikh and scholars communicate in a way that resonates across generations. The content is thoughtfully presented in a language that speaks to the hearts of both young and old, making deep Islamic knowledge accessible and relevant to everyone, no matter their background. We love and appreciate Shaykh Omar and the entire Yaqeen team for the sake of Allah. The app is really well made. The only real problem I have is the font color for the main text in any article. It is light gray on a white background which isn’t very pleasing to the eyes and makes it uncomfortable to read. I actually used to be able to play feeds in the past bust now those stopped working as well. Initially I thought it was just a temporary bug that will be addressed but it has been over six months now and every time I come back here it is still the same thing . So I beg and make a plea to the awesome developers of this app to please look into this. The negative part is that I can’t play any videos and all of the images on research blogs are stretched out horizontally so you can’t see half the image. Before there was a way then when you clicked on a video it would show you other videos from the series under it but that has disappeared.
