### 3/5 — Overall great app, but needs a few fixes

*2025-12-03*

My son hosted a Merry Market to sell a few items, and this app initially seemed perfect because of its simplicity and the fact that all his sales were cash only. However, there’s no clear information about what features are free or when a subscription is required. After his fifth sale, a pop-up appeared saying he’d reached his limit. I ended up paying for the app, but only because it happened mid-transaction and I panicked. It would’ve been much better to know about the limits upfront instead of being surprised in the middle of a sale.

Even after subscribing, I still don’t understand what the different pricing tiers actually offer. Another frustration is that the app won’t work offline. That’s fine if you’re indoors, but if your WiFi doesn’t reach outside, you’ll have to bring your device back inside every time just to complete a sale.
That said, once I purchased the subscription, everything else worked smoothly. The app did a great job tracking how much he made that day, and he even earned a few tips we were able to enter manually, which was a nice touch.

Overall, the lack of transparency and offline support made the experience more stressful than it needed to be, but the tracking features were helpful once it was up and running.

### 2/5 — Just a quick money grab unfortunately :/

*2025-09-22*

We were recently getting ready to have a yard sale. I saw this app and I thought it would be perfect, and at first it was! But after filling out 5 slots on the catalog, you have to pay a fee to get more storage space. Overall wouldn’t recommend, just stick to a calculator or smth. >:p

### 2/5 — No Search

*2025-06-20*

There is no search function or catagorizing tool. Its good for knowing who earned what if you have multiple people selling things, but otherwise bad. Photos are small and there is no way to search for items you’ve put in the catalog or while you’re checking out. A little irritated I paid $5 but glad I didnt pay for the lifetime access.

**Developer response:** These are certainly valid concerns you bring up. The goal of this app is to make yard sales a breeze so if it’s not doing that we’ll make sure to fix it! If you have any other thoughts or ideas, please contact us at support@yardyip.com!

### 3/5 — Need to make easier for multiple sellers

*2025-06-19*

This app works great and is simple to use - but when you’re having multiple sellers - it’s very tedious to enter who the different amounts belong to! Please figure out how put that on the opening sale screen and not having to go into and edit each line.

**Developer response:** That’s an excellent idea! We’ll let you know as soon as this feature has been shipped.

### 3/5 — ?

*2025-05-23*

Is there a way to add who makes what each purchase like Jane $1.00 & Doe $7.00 checkout total $8 and at the end be able to tell how much Jane makes and how much doe makes

**Developer response:** This feature is now available!

### 2/5 — Can’t create account

*2024-11-11*

Downloaded and tried multiple times to create an account, something I don’t like to begin with, and was always given an error.
Finally managed to create an account. Still not sure why I need an account.
Supposedly, there’s a free upgrade but I see no way to make that happen. The only option is an upgrade to the $4.99 bundle.

### 2/5 — Missing certain settings

*2024-11-11*

US Dollars aren't the only currency in the world. At the very least you should add euros as well as other currencies like GBP. 🇬🇧💷.
Also I can't print off anything. After creating a list using the app it would be really helpful if I could print off that list for tax purposes as I sell stuff online.

**Developer response:** Hi! I think these are great suggestions. Thank you for reporting!

### 5/5 — Yard sale pros will love this!

*2024-09-05*

Quick and easy to use. So convenient

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Is there a limit on of items added for free?

*2025-09-20*

This app appears to work great, but will only allow me to add 5 items unless I pay for the app. I didn’t see anywhere that there would be a charge after so many items were added when I downloaded the app. Won’t be paying to use this app, sorry

### 1/5 — Didn’t get mail

*2025-08-01, version 1.5.1*

was about to sign in but i didint get mail in mah unbox

### 1/5 — Paid

*2025-07-09, version 1.5.0*

Do I have to pay to add items? It will not let me add items for my yard sale

### 1/5 — What a scummy developer Bait & Switch grifter 🤮

*2025-05-08*

If you’re gonna have a free lifetime subscription promotion too help increase awareness and reviews Don’t be a GRIFTER dude 😢💯🤥

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-05-08*

This app is a scam. It wants to put a virus on your device when you sign up. It does not offer the free lifetime version as said on apps for free. Awful experience..

### 1/5 — Crazy permissions; features could improve

*2025-05-07*

0 stars if I could- I want to the link for App Support to figure out how to delete my account/rescind my permissions…and the link says “UNMATCHED ROUTE, PAGE NOT FOUND”… I went to read the privacy policy linked in the App Store for more detail also…also it said UNMATCHED ROUTE, PAGE NOT FOUND”. I initially didn’t realize the permissions on this app until I just glanced at them now when reviewing, I don’t need to trade my privacy for convenience, so I will likely be writing to remove permission to have access to my contact info and other identifiers. Apparently since the link is broken, I will be making a report to Apple. I like the app, but would also like to see some kind of “override” button where we could charge whatever for an item originally, but then “override” and press a ‘1/2 off’ button, or ‘2/3 off’ etc. - and then it would automatically recalculate the savings to the customer. Right now if the customer gives you less than what you were asking for the product it says you didn’t get enough money and refuses to complete the transaction, I want to keep track of exactly what object it was, and I want to enter 50 cents or a quarter for what was originally a dollar- and ai want the app to note that discount. (This was also supposed to be free pro lifetime but I couldn’t find any way to view different purchase plans or even see if I already have the lifetime from downloading previously.

**Developer response:** Hi! I’m so sorry for the issues you were seeing with the broken links. There were a few internal library updates that affected those links. You may also delete your account from within the app going to settings -> danger zone -> delete account.

It is possible to override a price for an item in your catalog by clicking on the item when it’s in your cart. Then you’ll see a menu with an option to override the price. I do love the idea of shortcut buttons to override to 1/2 off

If there’s anything I can do to make the situation better, please reach out to me at support@yardyip.com

### 1/5 — Fake AppAdvice Promotion be careful!

*2024-11-11*

Fake promotion!

### 1/5 — This app isn’t working properly

*2024-11-11, version 1.0.9*

Regretfully, this app seems to be poorly designed and is not working as described.

### 1/5 — Strange

*2024-11-11, version 1.0.9*

I can lust only 12 items. The app doesn’t let me add more.
Desappointed!

### 2/5 — The app is called, but they asked me to pay twice

*2026-02-02*

### 5/5 — Best app for yard sales

*2025-08-09*

This app is a life saver especially if kids want to help with the money. I use it on my iPad with a cash drawer under it so it teaches kids how working a register kind of works. My kids love it especially my 11 year old. VERY USER FRIENDLY!!

### 5/5 — Wicked helpful

*2025-07-09*

Made it easy to track sales!

### 5/5 — Quick for yard sale

*2025-06-26*

I thought it was a really fast cash register for our yard sale

### 5/5 — Would use

*2025-05-26*

Nice app

### 5/5 — Useful

*2025-05-22*

I didn’t think I needed an app for a garage sale, but I wouldn’t do one without it.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2025-05-22*

Did exactly what I needed without overcomplicating things. Simple and super helpful.

### 5/5 — Garage sale was a success

*2025-05-08*

We catalogued a few of the items but ended up just creating most of them on the fly. Tying this together with Venmo or CashApp would be pretty cool too

### 5/5 — Excellent for large yard sales

*2025-05-08*

We had a large yard sale with multiple families, and this helped immensely. Only request is that the app support seller attribution.

### 5/5 — Best App For Yard Sales!

*2024-09-08*

I highly recommend using this app for your yard sale. Especially if you are like me and want to keep track of everything your selling and have a goal of how much you want to earn from your event.
