I came here just to finish reading one of the books, and saw how affordable the weekly subscription was. I decided it was a good idea to try subscribing. however, when i tried to go find where to unsubscribe, there was no "cancel subscription" button, or any of the sort. The email to contact by seems fake, and I cant find any website domain to see if this is liable. I also tried researching for YaRead itself, and I was only able to find a main website that had two hyperlinks of "Terms of Service" and "Privacy Policy". None of which mentions about how to do 'cancelations of subscriptions', only statements of canceling before 24 hours of renewal date. In both hyperlinks, it gave another contact email, different from the one on the YaRead app itself. The subscription advertising feels misleading, cancellation is unnecessarily difficult, and I was charged despite never using the app. I requested a refund but was refused. App skips past the screen with cancel options and you have to be fast to tap the button. When you do get t it finally, it takes you to your subscription setting on your phone. So be careful on its subscription. ### 1/5 — Absolutely Hate ATP *2026-07-30, version 5.1.0* Okay, so I subscribed for the first 3 days. Had a couple good reads. Tried to unsubscribe the next night, there is NO section to unsubscribe. Made a report/request to be unsubscribed. Instead of processing that request, I wake up to not only the yaread app trying to take the $15.43 but a business account named “wentanvawx9” trying to process the same payment. I reported the app itself and the business account!
