However sometimes due to technical hitch somehow many times all trains live status doesn’t get updated - which needs to be looked into Overall very good experience ### 3/5 — Review after update *2024-07-15* Previously app was good without much ads but now after the update app shows many ads that we can’t skip and also the ads are persistent, every time i out of the train status page where the station and where the train is load because for many fast train it does show where the train is in the main page where all the train and there ETA is listed doesn’t show that so i am forced to click on the train that i want to see for its location initially it was ok not that much ads when i see that and come back but now the ads pops up when i do that can you make the app how it was before the update regarding the ads ### 3/5 — Need improvements *2024-04-30* Still need some bug fixes and improvements. However please show the live train tracking for all the moving trains for the particular time. For example: At 9:42AM I’m only able to see the status of 9:29AM Nerul Thane local but at that time I also want to see the status of 9:42AM and 9:59AM Nerul - Thane local as I would be catching those. Also please update the platform numbers as they change randomly. In short please show live train tracking for all the trains that are running at the corresponding time. I find Yatri app working smoothly, would have give 5 Stars but find that timetable is not updated. All Slow Dadar locals (terminating and starting) have been extended to Parel, yet app indicates otherwise. Just hope it continue with the same update.. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not useful anymore *2024-10-23, version 3.3.1* The application at the beginning was useful as it showed official location of local trains without requiring the user to share the location. Now, it barely shows the location for current trains and even if it shows it most probably wrong. This app now serves mere purpose of timetable that too with video advertisements. Uninstalling the application. ### 1/5 — New update - Irritation *2024-07-18* The latest update to Yatri app has spoiled the user experience with unlimited advertisements. The worst part is the “skip video” button doesn’t work and one has to force close the app to navigate the app further. As we are using the app at the last moments before boarding train, the unskippable advertisements are causing unwanted concerns to us and we are unable to use the app for its intended purposes. Totally disappointed and irritated with this update. ### 1/5 — Flaw in GPS tracking *2024-05-02* It keeps it mark as a government app, the GPS in faulty, the app shows that the train is running between Bandra and Andheri but it is yet to arrive Bandra station itself. I don’t know how can they go wrong with GPS tracking. Government should let private company run all this tech based stuff, the IT team of government is simply not capable enough to handle all this, it’s just a basic GPS tracking and that too goes wrong, inspite of India having the best access to internet😷😷 ### 1/5 — Worst app experience, not accurate, very limited features *2023-11-07* You are starting from and Destination Station (A to B) have error. It shows (B to A) train this app is big mess and why this app don't have option for ticket and pass why we have to download separate UTS app 👎🏼 ### 2/5 — Full page ads that render app unusable *2025-03-12, version 4.1.0* Authorities must not allow official public utility apps to have full page ads. Be smarter and place advertisements in a way that allow people to use it also. Also, in app rating page was not working. ### 2/5 — Good Info but too many Ads these days *2024-11-11* Have been using this app for a while and I was really happy with it. But recently there are too many ads every time I try to search for a train. This is very frustrating as generally we search for trains in rush. Some apps, some functionalities should not be for money making but rather for passengers convenience. Imagine trying to find a train and forced to watch a stupid ad before you can find the information you are looking for! ### 2/5 — Train Schedules Not Showing *2023-12-27* The app worked well for a couple of months, but it has started to have issues. It doesn’t provide accurate train timings unless you sign up. I believe this requirement is not fair. Please fix this as quickly as possible. I am aware that, being an app developed by the government, this suggestion might take a while to consider. Thanks in advance. ### 2/5 — very laggy and buggy *2022-11-30* its still in development stage i think and to be honest it need bug fixes and better optimised and also a darkmode would be better and maybe of they integrate UTS in one app instead of seperate app it would be great as users would have to use only one app in all its a very good app and i am looking forward to use it daily and i hope it replaces featureless-mindicator on ios ,thank you ### 3/5 — Great App with considerable scope for improvement *2025-11-25* While app is lot more accurate and reliable. The interface for selecting routes should be very simple. Instead of having small words in routes, can you just put the more common route names like for Thane , Kalyan Just Put Bold letter T, K as we see on indicators. Or most common monuments like for Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus you can put the iconic station image or something like Gateway of India. This will help in choosing routes faster. In current design the selection panel is too small. Clicking wrong route is very often due to that design. I choose A TO B and it shows result of B TO A and vice versa. Sometime it even skips some trains. I was dependent on this app to plan my travelling, but its reliability is a question now!
