Then a driver called me and said he had arrived. Uber showed me my driver was on the way, but the driver insisted he had arrived. I got inside and he asked me for the OTP and told me the booking was from Yatri Sathi. I checked the app and told my surprise there was no OTP! Nor was there any ride information, I was on the Home Screen. Showed it to the driver and even he was confused. He checked the customer information and it showed my account name on his device. Still, he couldn’t see an OTP on my end. Ultimately had to get out of the car and wait for an Uber. I don’t know if it’s some UI or server side error but regardless, it was a huge waste of my time. Disappointing experience, I thought you could rely on this app. ### 1/5 — Very bad cars and drivers *2026-07-26* Had the worst experience, riding in a car, with driver having such rude behaviour, AC not working, driver continuously reporting that the AC works, driver had inner garments hanged in the boot. I literally felt like puking. I was in a rush and therefore I couldn’t take pictures or even rebook another car. I had to catch a flight. And this experience I get after booking AC Priority Cab. This comes with a premium charge. And this is the service i get. Needless to say the cab was broken from all angles, the seat had a hollow dent in the middle. The driver behaviour was so bad that i was even scared to argue with him, because who knows, there are enough scary things happening already. I DID NOT EXPECT THIS FROM YATRI SATHI. Btw, customer support team is supposed to get back by 24 hours. This is how long it takes to address a grievance issue. It is really FUNNY. ### 1/5 — You force us to stand in line to meet your staff even after having OTP at howrah station *2026-03-25* But you played a contradictory audio at the same splace on the speaker, saying that people just need to download the app and go to the cab pickup point instead of waiting in a queue. Why mislead people to boost your downloads? Passengers could miss their flight or train by trusting such false promises. In spite of having otp i had to be in queue for so long just to get a cab. Instead i cud bypass your app and get taxi. ### 1/5 — Unsafe as well as Scams *2026-02-25* I have often used this app for rides because it is provided by the government. However I have had two incidents of it that makes me question the genuineness of this app. The first incident was my trip from Bagdogra to Darjeeling. The person at the counter claimed that the ride would charge me 2700 but at the end of the ride the app showed 1700, however I still had to pay the amount that was told by the person which is like 1000 rupees costlier. Another incident was on my ride from Kolkata Airport to my home. The driver was constantly texting someone in WhatsApp throughout the ride and was often left used both his hands to type instead of holding the wheel, he even was driving at least at a speed of 50+ km/h with both his two hands and eyes on the phone. I have never felt so scared in a ride and I wonder if the app even considers our feedbacks. ### 1/5 — I had some worst experiences with Yatri Sathi *2025-11-12* I have had some worst experiences with Yatri Saathi, a few months back. I booked a bike ride from Yatri Saathi and I got into a very big accident. I wanted to claim the insurance but couldn’t because it was not working. I tried to complain about it, but no call back and okay fine. I let that go and today I got into Saathi and the I lost something. I called up the driver, he said he’s checked, but we all know how that how they check. Generally, but the worst thing is that you Saathi does not have a good Customer support like you cannot contact them directly. They have this chat boxes, but they don’t work properly. They always give you options that don’t work. It’s just frustrating. ### 2/5 — Drivers Exploit Peak Hours to Overcharge Passengers *2025-10-26* During peak hours, drivers have started using certain tactics to extract extra money from customers: 1. They refuse to accept the initial fare unless the customers increase the originally offered amount. 2. Even after accepting a ride, the drivers don’t move from the cars’ location for the next 15 minutes and ignore the phone calls from the customer. 3. During this time, the customer is forced to look for an alternative Yatri Sathi taxi nearby and that Yatri Sathi driver then would demand 30–50% more than the fare originally offered or shown in the app. This has happened to me repeatedly. ### 4/5 — Decent App *2025-10-19* I booked a rental for a round trip from a destination (which is suppose to be approx 38 km distance) twice. Once i paid extra as total distance showed 47km which is understandable but the next time it showed 67 km, which is highly unlikely even if any different route is taken. I filed a support ticket but has not received any response in 24 hrs and occasionally the buttons while initiating support request (yes/no option in chat) doesn’t seem to be working. ### 2/5 — Booking information doesn’t update on the app *2025-10-07* There is a bug in the app which I have encountered twice in the last few days. The booking information does not show on the app intermittently. You have to close and start the app up again for the information to show. This bug is causing harassment for both the driver and the riders. Please fix this . ### 5/5 — Good App from Government *2025-08-18* Every riders should ride car through Yatri Sathi App so that government can think more benefits of us. Other apps increased money every moment and they are basically charging ride unethically to the customers and not paying to drivers as well. ### 2/5 — Yatri Sathi Experience - Not worth it. *2025-07-16* The fare was much less compared to other cab apps. However, the location awareness of the cab driver was limited. Despite mention the pickup location and the nearby landmarks, he was unable to locate properly. Limited exposure and expertise on how to use smartphones and location services properly. Unable to understand the drop off location multiple times. I had booked an AC cab, but the ac was not working and not available. What is the point of lying during the time of booking?
