The things you've always meant to do — start them, one step at a time. Yay List is a wishlist app built for turning "someday" into action — whether it's a trip you've wanted to take for years, a skill you never got around to learning, or a habit you'd like to finally stick with. WHERE TO START Not sure what to write down? Explore 127 curated ideas filtered by age, energy level, and budget, spanning seven categories — travel, learning, physical challenges, creativity, relationships, service, and lifestyle. Each one comes with a ready-made checklist and searchable keywords, so you're never starting from a blank page. ONE STEP AT A TIME Big wishes break down into concrete prep steps automatically. Check one off and watch your progress move forward. Building a habit? Check in daily and see the streak add up. The moment you finish, a small celebration marks the occasion — your Yay Moment. KEEP THE STORY Jot down how you're feeling before you start, thoughts along the way, or reflections once it's done — with photos. Looking back later is half the joy. PLAN TOGETHER Want to plan a trip with family, or build a habit alongside a friend? Create a shared list, invite them in, and you'll both see progress, check things off, and leave notes together. Only the people you invite can see it, and you can stop sharing anytime. BUILT TO BE EASY ON THE EYES Every bit of text is at least 15pt, with generous tap targets throughout — designed specifically for people near or enjoying retirement. No squinting required. YOUR DATA IS YOURS Wishes, Yay Moments, and journal entries sync only to your own iCloud account. We don't run a server, can't see your data, and don't do ad tracking. If you share a list, only the people you invite can see it. Export anytime as plain Markdown and ordinary image files — readable even without this app. BILINGUAL The interface supports both Traditional Chinese and English, including bilingual trip descriptions on the Explore tab — handy for research and for sharing with family who read different languages. The things you want to do are worth taking seriously. Start today, one step at a time. ## Version history (last 3 releases) ### 1.2 — 2026-09-28 - New reminder notifications: a heads-up 7 days before a wish's target date, optional reminders for individual preparation steps, an automatic monthly review of what you completed, a gentle nudge if you haven't opened the app in a while, and a celebration alert when a wish's progress or a habit streak crosses a milestone (25/50/75/100%). Each notification type can be turned on or off separately in Settings - Explore World now supports "Cruise" and "All-Inclusive Resort" as travel types, with dedicated fields for sailing routes, cruise lines, and resort details - 17 new Explore templates for all-inclusive resorts and cruises, covering destinations from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Thailand to the Maldives, Japan, Alaska, and the Mediterranean - Fixed completed wishes staying stuck in the "Today" tab instead of disappearing ### 1.1 — 2026-09-09 • Travel info: log flights, hotels, trains, and car rentals for multi-day trips, plus a new region filter in Explore • Expense splitting: track trip costs (no money changes hands) and see who owes what at a glance; a new RSVP feature makes splits more accurate • New Tasting Log for whiskey, wine, coffee, and other hobbies, with photos and tasting dates • Fixed dark mode text that was nearly unreadable across most of the app • More reliable photo sync in shared lists, plus smoother WordPress/Facebook sharing ### 1.0 — 2026-09-02 No release notes. ## Apps similar to Yay List | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [The MomCo](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/the-momco/id6743233736) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Star.Mugs — Collector's Tool](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/starmugs-collectors-tool/id1299038579) | 3.8 (26) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Orchard Church App](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/orchard-church-app/id1535854831) | 5.0 (19) | Free | Lifestyle | | [BLESS - Everyday Evangelism](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/bless-everyday-evangelism/id1541313484) | 4.6 (38) | Free | Lifestyle | | [OHD Anywhere](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ohd-anywhere/id1062400413) | 4.8 (12,517) | Free | Lifestyle | | [All at Home](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/all-at-home/id1076017699) | 4.8 (12,273) | Free | Lifestyle | ## More apps by YAOTSAN TSAI - [CalorieRecycle](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/calorierecycle/id6764067202) - [Famly - Family Reminders](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/famly-family-reminders/id6776103025) - [TwoRetire](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tworetire/id6792512974) All apps by YAOTSAN TSAI: https://appshunter.io/developer/1895623409 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
