Yazee is a traditional dice game designed for simple and fast play. A Yazee (5 of a Kind) is 50 points, but a second Yazee yields a bonus of 100 points. Yazee is easy to learn, but difficult to master. Hone your skills using a hint that reveals the optimal choices.

Loaded dice improves your odds of rolling a value of your choosing; it is possible to average nearly 500 points per game with loaded dice.

This is a 5-star game, but I am hoping to get the developer’s attention here. I do not use Game Center, I do not want to use Game Center. But every other time I fire up the game I have to click through annoying nags to connect my Game Center account.

If there’s a way in the settings to stop this, please make it more obvious. And if there’s not, please add one. I’d like to restore my rating to 5 stars.

Update: I have knocked my rating down from 5 to 4 stars because recently the game has been persistently nagging me to connect to Game Center. I have no interest in Game Center, but can’t find a way to tell the game to just leave me alone about it! Otherwise, my original review below from 6 years ago stands:

Forget the garbage official Yahtzee games on the App Store that bury the actual game in obnoxious distractions. This is the true game, pure and simple, with a bunch of great options to customize the experience (which you’ll probably want to do — the default settings need some tweaks), and no extra junk you don’t need. I’m 43, and my Yahtzee-loving mom is about to turn 70. We both used to like an official version that wasn’t updated to work with iOS 11. Neither of us can stand what that game has become. I tipped my mom off to this game instead and she took to it immediately! Pay to remove the ads (it’s worth it, and the developer deserves it) and enjoy.

Everything about this app is great. Good design it works equally well on the iPad and my tiny-screened SE. no stupid unnecessary features and the design looks nice. Gameplay is intuitive. My only complaint is the occasional unexpected pop up ad with sound that makes me close it in a hurry. The little banner ad at the top is fine. But I would happily pay to go ad-free.

Perfect pastime! I completed >10,000 games & had to reset my statistics when I upgraded my phone.  App support from developer is best ever. He is quick to respond and his responses & suggestions are very comprehensive.
