I have no interest in Game Center, but can’t find a way to tell the game to just leave me alone about it! Otherwise, my original review below from 6 years ago stands: Forget the garbage official Yahtzee games on the App Store that bury the actual game in obnoxious distractions. This is the true game, pure and simple, with a bunch of great options to customize the experience (which you’ll probably want to do — the default settings need some tweaks), and no extra junk you don’t need. I’m 43, and my Yahtzee-loving mom is about to turn 70. We both used to like an official version that wasn’t updated to work with iOS 11. Neither of us can stand what that game has become. I tipped my mom off to this game instead and she took to it immediately! Pay to remove the ads (it’s worth it, and the developer deserves it) and enjoy. ### 4/5 — Yahtzee done right *2022-08-07, version 1.10.4* Everything about this app is great. Good design it works equally well on the iPad and my tiny-screened SE. no stupid unnecessary features and the design looks nice. Gameplay is intuitive. My only complaint is the occasional unexpected pop up ad with sound that makes me close it in a hurry. The little banner ad at the top is fine. Plays the game the way it should be played without all the ADS! There is a small ad at the top that does not hinder game play and for $1.99 you can have it removed. It looks great and has a lot of customization options, so you can play with custom rules that you might be used to. It’s definitely worth the money to get the upgrade and eliminate the ads, but they’re not intrusive, so you can let them run at the bottom of the screen if you like. Go ahead and get this, and for a unique variation, get Hizee by the same developer. I do not use Game Center, I do not want to use Game Center. But every other time I fire up the game I have to click through annoying nags to connect my Game Center account. If there’s a way in the settings to stop this, please make it more obvious. And if there’s not, please add one.
