## What is YD Home?

1、YD Home is a smart home platform, lets you easily control home appliances from anywhere in the world.
The APP controls all connected electrical appliances via your smart phone/tablet, wherever and whenever you choose to control the on/off, timer and countdown. It is capable of controlling any number of YD Home Wifi sockets as long as the location is covered by the network.

This product worked really well for a while, but now it doesn’t work at all.  It no longer turns on or off and I’ve been unable to find a way of contacting the company for support.  I’m hoping it just needs it’s software updated to deal with the new iOS, but have no way of knowing whether the company is working on an upgrade.

Contacting company is of course a run around . Everything worked fine with my sockets previously

Does what it says, does a very basic turn things on and off via my iPhone. 
Given the flexibility that a computer programmed controlled device could have,  I’m disappointed that the time options aren’t more sophisticated. I expected the controlled on/off times to be linked to time zones, day light saving and sunset/sunrise times at least. As it stands now the times have to be frequently adjusted manually as the sunset/rise times and seasons change.

Bought this wifi power socket for my Bezzera coffee machine.
Hasn’t missed a beat. 

Timer function is simple to set up and modify. Has weekdays and weekends settings.
I remotely turn on the machine at other times of the day when I’m on my way home.

Bought it from Bunnings warehouse.
