## What is Year Mood Calendar?

Your year as one beautiful picture — kept up to date for you.

Year Mood Calendar turns your year into a single picture, one colour a day: the year-in-pixels idea, made effortless. Set it up once with a quick Apple Shortcut, and iOS repaints your lock screen on your schedule as your year fills in — no opening the app needed.

SET IT UP ONCE
Add one Apple Shortcut, pick a time, and iOS updates your lock screen and home screen on schedule to show your year so far. Miss a day? Open the app and it catches up instantly. You can always log or refresh by hand, too.

ONE TAP A DAY
Open the app and tap today's colour, or log it straight from a home or lock screen widget without opening the app at all. A gentle, optional reminder helps you finish the year. No streaks, no pressure.

EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK
- A lock screen that refreshes on your schedule
- Home and lock screen widgets, including a tap-to-log widget
- Save your year as a wallpaper any time

MAKE IT YOURS
Start from beautiful ready-made looks, or open the Studio and watch your year recolour live as you change colours, shapes, and fonts.

MORE THAN MOODS
Start with moods if you like, then track your workouts, your sleep, your habits, your focus. If you can count it, you can colour it.

YOURS, AND PRIVATE
No account, no sign-up. Your year stays on your device.

A year is 365 small moments. Give them a colour — and let your phone help keep the picture.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-14

Your year now feels alive.

• Meet the redesigned Year view: the current month, today’s question, Catch Up, and your whole year now live together in one calmer screen.
• Catch Up makes missed days easy. Fill the last seven days, or open any week in another month and complete it from oldest to newest.
• Tap a month for a focused monthly recap, then share a clean snapshot of its colours.
• Choose questions that fit what you track—mood, habits, workouts, or your own prompt.
• Eight new Designer Edit themes: Glacier, Acid Bloom, Persimmon, Velvet Plum, Neo Deco, Glitch, Straits, and Indigo Folk.
• Logging now flows into today’s calendar square with gentle motion, haptics, and a clear confirmation.

Also improved: Studio, Autopilot, widgets, Shortcuts, tracker switching, backups, and imports. Year Mood Calendar is now fully localized in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Mexican Spanish, with deeper support for VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, Reduce Transparency, Differentiate Without Color, and increased contrast.

Your data still stays on your device. No account, no pressure—just one colour at a time.
