Have you ever wondered how your life would end if you could live it again — in 1990s Taiwan, or 1929 America?

Year Rings is a text-based life-simulation game set against REAL economic history. From the moment you're born, you make year-by-year choices — study, work, family, investing, and the storms of the times — until your life plays out and you see what you leave behind.

Every run is anchored to historical data: Taiwan's bubble years and Wall Street's 1929 crash and Great Depression. Prices, wages, taxes, housing, and major events are drawn from research — not cartoon numbers. If you know your history, you'll play better. That's by design.

- Birth wheel: six social classes set your starting point.
