## What is Yehoo?

Ever had one of those days? Busy from morning to night, yet by bedtime you can't say where the time went. The plan was long, and only a few things actually moved.

Yehoo puts what you meant to do, what you actually did, and how it felt on the same timeline. At the end of the day you don't get another half-checked list. You get an honest record. A few days in, you start to see yourself clearly: where your time really goes, what keeps getting pushed back, and what kind of day leaves you at your best.

Record. Review. Adjust. Change starts with seeing clearly.

MORNING: FIT TODAY INTO REAL TIME
• Drag tasks, habits, and favorite timers onto the timeline and see at a glance whether today is overbooked.
• Mark what matters so it doesn't get buried under small stuff.

DURING THE DAY: JUST START, OWNSTATE KEEPS TRACK
• Start a timer with one tap and follow it on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Check the task off when you're done and the time is saved automatically. Forgot the timer? Add the time afterward.
• The day ring draws today's plan and what actually happened in one circle, so the gaps are easy to spot.
• With widgets, Shortcuts, and Apple Watch, you can start a timer or jot something down without opening the app.

EVENING: A FEW LINES TO KEEP TODAY
• Journal entries line up day by day, with each day's mood visible at a glance. Formatting happens as you type, and everything saves automatically.
• Notes written while a timer runs are linked to that task, so later you know what you were thinking at the time.

WEEKEND: LOOK BACK, THEN ADJUST
• Overview opens with one sentence on the biggest change in this period, then expands by day, week, month, quarter, or year.
• Compare plan with reality and this period with the last one. Months and quarters can also be compared with the same period last year. Find the one change that's really worth making.
• See long-term habit trends and a calendar heat map. Break goals into milestones and next steps, so they don't stay on a wish list.

### 5/5 — This is incredibly powerful.

*2026-06-28*

This app is seriously powerful, probably the best timer/task manager I’ve ever used. It reminds me to take breaks at work and pushes me to get started. As a chronic procrastinator, I feel very seen.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.2 — 2026-10-30

Yehoo 2.2: All-new widgets and Apple Watch

[New] Nine all-new widgets: Day Rhythm, Focus, Habits, Today, Mood, Goals, Projects, Quick Actions, and Overview, most in small, medium, and large sizes. The existing Today Tasks, Calendar, and Quick Tasks widgets stay.

[New] Act right from a widget: starting or switching a timer no longer opens the app, and the timer appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island right away. Check in a habit, log a mood, complete a task, move it to tomorrow, or complete a goal step, all from the widget. Check-ins and moods can be undone.

[New] Quick Actions: organize your favorite links into buttons with icons and groups. Add them from the built-in link library and open them with one tap in a widget. A task’s own quick actions can also be opened from a widget.

[New] A new “Widget Appearance” setting on the Appearance page in Settings: Follow System, Dark, or Light. Widget text follows the language you choose in the app. In StandBy, widgets drop their background and dim automatically at night.

[New] A redesigned Apple Watch app with four pages: Now, Tasks, Habits, and Rest. On Now, see your plan and what actually happened in the Day ring, and start a timer or complete right there. On Tasks, swipe to start. On Habits, press and hold the ring to complete. Double Tap pauses the timer. The watch follows the system language.

[New] Watch face complications grow from 3 to 10, adding Up Next, Habit Progress, Single Habit, Today’s Progress, Day Ring, Focus Time, and Breathing. They show up in the Smart Stack when they’re most useful.

[New] Habit check-in backfill: in the ⋯ menu on a habit card, log a check-in you forgot and pick a past date and time.

[New] Full iPhone Duo support: the inner screen now switches pages with a bottom bar and a vertical rail on the right, and pages like Execute, Schedule, Journal, Habits, and Review split into two columns in landscape. When half-folded, content stays clear of the fold. With the outer screen in landscape and standing on a desk, you get the standby screen, where the timer, what’s next, and the bedtime reminder are visible at a glance.

[Improved] The timer ring shows the number of overtime laps; durations over 1 hour appear as “2:17:35”; timers with no set duration go around once an hour.

[Improved] Many displays are more complete and clearer with large text sizes, VoiceOver, higher contrast, and right-to-left languages such as Arabic.

[Changed] Schedule has a new icon, and the User Guide has been removed from Settings.

[Fix] Review no longer counts plan changes that an older version logged twice across two devices as evidence.

[Fix] After you tap Clear iCloud Data, the window now appears immediately and explains what happens on each device.

[Fix] Fixed several display issues with Apple Watch offline, timers that run past midnight, and overdue tasks, plus other stability issues.

### 2.1.1 — 2026-10-21

OwnState 2.1.1: Smoother days, steadier sync

[New] When a timer ends, or you complete a task or habit, a new log card pops up with the duration and start and end times. Pick a mood, jot down a few lines, or tap Expand to Full Editor to write a full journal entry.

[New] Touch and hold an empty spot on the timeline or Day ring to bring up a time guide that follows your finger and snaps to 5-minute steps. Let go to add something new or log time you've already spent.

[New] Touch and hold the OwnState icon on the Home Screen to create a task, write a journal entry, or start a quick timer. While a timer is running, you can jump right back to it.

[New] A brand-new OwnState Pro page shows the price, your trial progress, and the purchase steps on one screen. Once you've unlocked Pro, you can see and deactivate your authorized devices on the same page.

[New] Clear iCloud Data in Settings erases your records on this device, in iCloud, and on your other devices with sync turned on, all at once. A backup is made first by default, and you touch and hold for 3 seconds to confirm.

[Changed] On Execute, the Habits section is now Daily: habits and the presets scheduled for today share one row, sorted by time, and you can start a preset as a timer or a log right there.

[Changed] Parent tasks and their subtasks now stay together on Execute: if any subtask is still coming up today, the whole parent task appears in Coming Up. On iPhone, tap a task row to expand or collapse its subtasks.

[Changed] Journal now uses the same filter panel as tasks. New and existing entries open straight in the full editor and save automatically.

[Changed] A cleaner color scheme: regular buttons, icons, and links are now neutral, and your accent color is reserved for selections, switches, running timers, and similar states. Text is easier to read, too.

[Changed] iPhone now shows the system status bar by default. For a more immersive view, hide it in Language & Appearance → Full Screen.

[Changed] Pressing Return in the search field now confirms your search and dismisses the keyboard. To create a task, tap Create task "…" above the results.

[Optimized] Faster page switching from the sidebar: pages you've visited stay as you left them and appear instantly, scroll position and expanded sections included.

[Fix] With iCloud sync on, scrolling after launch and starting or stopping a timer no longer stutter. Timer status reaches your other devices sooner instead of getting stuck for a long time, and the Mac app no longer keeps the CPU maxed out.

[Fix] Quick search and Quick Add no longer make the keyboard bounce up and down, and what you type is no longer created as duplicate tasks.

[Improved] The first time you start with example data, OwnState shows its progress, and the example data is generated faster.

[Fix] Fixed a number of display issues: for example, the full-screen timer ring on iPad no longer changes size, two- and three-digit counts fit in their badges, the Mac settings window has a better layout, and several translations have been corrected.

### 2.1 — 2026-10-17

OwnState 2.1: Fewer places to look, a clearer day

[Changed] The sidebar now has seven places: Execute, Plan, Journal, Habits, Goals, Overview, and Library. Plan brings together Schedule and Board, and Library brings together Projects, Tags, and Presets. It's the same on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and on Mac you can jump to any page with ⌘1–⌘0.

[New] Day ring: see today's plan and what actually happened in a single ring, and switch between the list and the ring at any time. Drag tasks straight onto the timeline or the ring to schedule them — the scheduling sheet opens only when there's a conflict.

[New] One filter panel for Execute, Schedule, Board, and Review. Filter by time, project, tag, priority, and status, and create a task right from your search text.

[New] Redesigned Journal: a day-by-day card timeline, with a week strip showing each day's mood and number of entries. The new editor formats as you type, saves automatically, and supports checklists, pinning, and reminders.

[New] Redesigned Goals: goal details now run from Next Step to Route, Data, and Review. Tap a milestone to see what counts as done, your methods, and the steps.

[New] Redesigned Overview: it opens with one sentence on where your time went and what changed most since the last period. Choose a day, week, month, quarter, year, or custom range, and compare months and quarters with the same period last year.

[New] Important items and priority markers: mark tasks, projects, and goals as important, and see today's important tasks together on the Execute page. Show priority as exclamation marks, checkbox colors, or both — widgets and Apple Watch follow your choice.

[New] Habits is now a single page with your cards and long-term trends, including trend charts, a calendar heat map, and fuller statistics. Habit and preset cards also get a new Matte Paper Card style.

[New] No more limit on tags. Tags can be nested two levels deep, found by alias, and archived or restored.

[New] Optional automatic encrypted backups on this device, covering both your data and your settings.

[New] Timers can open full screen as soon as they start (you can turn this off in Settings). Tap a timer on the Lock Screen or in the Dynamic Island to jump back to what you're timing.

[Changed] A new app icon: a simple three-petal lotus, with light and dark versions.

[Changed] On iPhone, OwnState currently supports portrait orientation only.

[Improved] Interface text in 11 languages has been revised: literal translations fixed, missing translations added, and Traditional Chinese now uses Taiwan terminology.

[Fix] Better reliability for iCloud sync and Shortcuts, plus fixes for a range of display and interaction issues.

### 2.0 — 2026-09-21

OwnState 2.0: Turn plans into action

Plans often never reach the calendar, goals get broken down without revealing the next step, and a busy week ends with no clear picture of where your time went. OwnState 2.0 brings goals, scheduling, execution, habits, and reflection into one workspace.

Follow a goal path to find your next step, place tasks and habits into real time, then compare plans with what actually happened in daily, weekly, and monthly reviews. Adjust your rhythm as you go.

The structure stays more consistent across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, so you spend less time switching between pages, devices, and tools.

[New] A unified workspace: iPhone, iPad, and Mac now share consistent entry points for execution, planning, review, and your library, with navigation that adapts to the device and how you work.

[New] Daily, weekly, and monthly reviews: Bring plans, actual records, projects, habits, goals, and notes into one view, so reflection no longer depends on memory alone.

[New] Goal paths: Organize outcomes, milestones, execution steps, and reviews on a visual path, then link tasks, habits, and presets to it.

[New] More flexible scheduling and boards: Arrange, drag, adjust, and organize tasks, habits, and record presets; multi-day timelines make plans easier to understand.

[Improved] Redesigned habit, project, tag, and note screens create a more consistent experience across large displays, touch, larger text, and accessibility features.

[Optimized] The workspace, timelines, reviews, and boards now feel more stable and responsive.

[Fix] Improved cross-device sync, data migration, purchase restoration, and read-only access to existing Pro content.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-07-29

[Improved] Clearer switching cues between Quick Add and Search make both entry points easier to find.

[Optimized] Improved the Zen Room layout on iPad and Mac by separating audio selection and spatial positioning controls for easier browsing and adjustment.

[Fix] Fixed misaligned right edges in the priority and status selectors in Task Settings.

[Fix] Fixed stuttering when expanding timer settings, opening ambient sound settings, or scrolling.

[Improved] Tap anywhere in the ambient sound row to open its settings.

[Fix] Fixed stuttering caused by repeated saves when an active timer task was refreshed externally.

[Fix] Fixed incomplete localization in desktop task widget configuration summaries and task parameter names.

[Fix] Fixed task templates failing to preserve dates, reminders, recurrence, tags, and shortcuts.
