I have seen this asked for before but seems you take no notice of what we want. I'm deleting this app it's a waste of time it is so out of date. The park tavern 43 Broadway North Walsall has been closed over 3 years there is now retirement homes there and the longest resident has been there 2 years now You still have took no action on the above still advertising as open. This app is totally out of date in many respects you don’t read the reviews. There is no facility other than this, which I doubt you read, to tell you something wrong. In google maps you can report an issue, you can’t with you only review a business. Why is there no easy way to tell you a place is permanently closed. You have verify your account and piss about. I’ve said earlier that this app is so out of date. I could list loads of places currently closed and I can’t be bothered because it’s to much messing about. Dint bother with this app just google what you want and you can on there at least add an edit without much trouble ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2020-07-16, version 20.5.0* Definitely wouldn’t recommend! My business name is nailzfirst and i have been building my clientele for 2 years now. Few months ago I decided to try some professional advertising. After ive been introduced this Yell, i said that i wouldnt spend more than 100£ a month. He then decided to give me some kind of a discount which would make it instead of 167£ a month just 84£ a month. He said this will be seen by millions of people and that all i need is just 2-3 extra clients a month to cover the advertising expenses. After i agreed, now when i open my account analysis, it says that for the past 6 months i have received 0 calls through the app and ever since, no one called me to suggest anyway of updating my profile, like posting pics and things that could get you clients easily. After calling them to ask why is that i dont have any calls, they suggested to buy more adds and to buy a website for 400-500£. If you looking for advertising i strongly suggest instagram or facebook. Would be much cheaper and much more affective! Yell is a rip off.. Seriously, yellow pages? That thick book that your grandma used to beat you with? And now they went digital.. and even after searching on google my business it comes on the second page.. who goes to the second page these days.. instagram, facebook and treatwell that im using always come on the first page and its free or little extra fee just to boost your account even more. Dont waste your money on yellow pages from my grandmas childhood! ### 1/5 — Don’t sign up *2020-06-03, version 20.5.0* I pay a lot of money to yell every month, I have explained my concern and complaints. They have assured me that they Will put it right. After 14 calls. I have given up. Two months to go. Cannot wait to leave. Please don’t sign up. ### 1/5 — Presently Disappointed *2018-11-10* Just loaded app to my iPad. Created an account. Then decided to load to my iPhone and logon to account. System say no. Email and password correct and double checked. System say no. Why? Hence my disappointment. Tried to find developer to write to instead of app store but can't find where to supply feedback so have written here. System seems definitely to say no. Thanks, Sam ### 2/5 — Unable to add reviews *2022-08-29, version 21.8.0* Every time I try to add a review it doesn’t work which means the businesses are losing out on trade. Good for finding businesses and contact details but a shame about the reviews. ### 2/5 — Very disappointed! *2019-02-27* I was very happy with this app and have used it for years to promote my business. My customers can leave reviews for others to see and over the years they have accumulated to 195 and are still relevant. Recently I noticed only 20 reviews can be viewed on the app and despite contacting Yell on numerous occasions they refuse to revert back to showing all the reviews. They can be viewed on the desktop version but who uses that now there’s an app?! We need to be current - young people use their phones and tablets more than laptops. Please change it back To add to that - this Yell review page has reviews going back to over 9 years ago so how come mine can’t show that many years?! ### 2/5 — I don’t trust it. *2019-01-19* This app overly complicates a simple concept whilst getting the absolute basics wrong as well: there are too many sponsored ads and then the businesses that appear afterwards are not shown in alphabetical order - basically it’s not like Yellow Pages at all. I don’t trust other customer’s reviews either; everything’s either five star brilliant or one star rubbish - just like every other review site on the internet. And it feels almost like I’m being directed to businesses that Yell want me to see rather than being able to impartially browse. You’re better off just searching google. Two stars because I like the app icon.
