The app is glitchy, and I had to restart it a few times. Even if it weren't, it does nothing that calling the Yellow Cab dispatcher can't do faster, and the app doesn't tell you when you can expect pickup. The Taxi Status area doesn't give you informative statuses. Mine went from 'Waiting', to 'Rejected', to 'Late'. I didn't need an actual ride, and was just experimenting, but I couldn't cancel the request from within the app. Assuming Yellow Cab simply decided not to pick me up like it has in the past, I went to bed. Then, an hour and a half later, at 1am, I got an automated call waking me up and telling me that my cab was outside. Wow.
