Make observations and raise actions when on site or in a building. When connected to the internet your actions can be viewed instantly by the recipient(s) so that you can take action faster.

The YellowJacket app gives you instant access to inspections and audit questions, enabling you to record answers and upload pictures on the go. 

Access floor plans and specify locations: 
Floor plans for each building or site are uploaded onto the YJ app so that you can specify the exact location of an observation or action.

The mobile app can be used underground or in an area with no signal. Any changes made are automatically synched once your device is connected to the internet. 

Instantly updates changes: 
Changes are automatically synched with the system. Any changes you make when offline are updated on the system as soon as you log in and enter a WiFi zone.

I have worked with some awful software over the years but this one takes the crown. Nothing is simple with this app. Everything is the long way around. Avoid it

Works well just needs to be paired with the website page and commissions setup.

Once setup there are ample training videos online which explain the system well

This application is a good format but does need to be paired with the webpage when using the mobile device. Once commissions are setup the system works seamlessly and and follow up actions are made clear with regular notifications provided. Good training videos within the webpage version which explain the operation of the application in full.

If you had minus stars I’d be choosing those. This system has got to be the worst on the market. You’re better off using spreadsheets and PowerBi to gather data. Avoid buying it.

Yellow jacket is the most frustrating interface I have ever had to deal with. The desktop version is slow, not user-friendly and littered with pit-holes. The app at least is quicker but is over-complicated. It is so easily sorted but the app is not targeted for end user; instead it is weaponised by main contractors to target subcontractors.

This first software where everything is confusing. You have to pass so many steps, you have to so many things if you want add observation. Where no descriptions where indicates what each action do. People who made this software they don't what all things do. And most annoying things that you can't skip things if you don't know.

Release Date 08.03.2019
This release of YellowJacket includes the following enhancement and additions:
Revised Audit and Inspection Reports: 
These now include a capability to add an Executive Summary. The layout of the report has also been refreshed. After the report header is a table of actions, in risk rating order (high to low). In this section the Action ID is hyperlinked back to the detail, and each action in the report will include any photos that have been added. The detailed question responses then follow, with observations details including floorplan images and observation photos. Once completed YellowJacket now provides the opportunity to send a copy of the Audit or Inspection report via email to other recipients. 

Two new reports have been added in this release:
An Observation Report: 
This report enables a user to easily search for observations across commissions, within a date range and identify who raised them. A broad set of selection parameters are provided when running the report.

Observations with Actions Report:
A detailed report showing Observations and associated Actions will be added in R15.1 This detailed report will be accessible to System Admins only, from the System Admin Reports menu.

Changes have been made to several existing YellowJacket reports: Inspection Scorecard Report; Incident by Cause Report; and Observation by Performance Category Report.

This release also includes changes to the Action Management process in YellowJacket:
If an action is allocated by the user to themselves the close-out process has been simplified. This is now a single step process. Furthermore, no automatic email notification will be sent to the user.
Although YellowJacket allows the identification of an Organisation responsible for an observation, in R15.1 any resulting action may only be allocated to an organisation with a valid licence.

### 1.13 — 2018-07-14

The YellowJacket Mobile App now allows you select what Commission data you want synchronised to your device. The App also now allows Observations with Actions to be published whilst still working on open Audits or Inspection.
