My previous hire did not even have central locking. All hire cars should have cruise control and central locking as standard. The more expensive cars I have hired, such as BMW’s through YELO have all the bells and whistles but you pay a premium for it. The more usual hires (Hyundai etc) have tyres and glass in the windows. I understand that YELO are running a business but omitting options from their vehicles which have been standard on most cars for many years now is financially immoral. YELO are not cheap in Saudi, you will pay the same price as the UK but you will get none of the bells and whistles you get from a UK hire. ### 1/5 — Worst service ever *2025-04-17, version 6.20.1* The waiting and drop off took a lot of time and also the car quality and cleanliness was horrible ### 1/5 — Worst customer experience *2025-04-13, version 6.20.1* أسوء تجربة ايجار سيارة في السعودية ### 1/5 — لا انصح بالتعامل معكم اطلاقاً *2025-02-23* من اسواء شركات ايجار السيارات من حيث الالتزامات ورد التامين أنا اجرت سيارة من منتصف شهر ديسمبر ولم بتم رد التامين حتى الآن هذ غير ادعاء الشركة بوجود تلفيات بالسيارة عند تسليمها بالمطار فى حين عدم وجود اى شخص للاستلام بالمطار ومع ذلك تم إرسال صور للسيارة وهى ١٠٠٪؜ سليمة وتم تركها فى الجراج المخصص لهم بمطار المدينة واجبارونى على دفع قيمة التلفيات وتم الدفع ومع ذلك لم يتم رد التامين لا انصح بالتعامل معهم اطلاقاً ### 1/5 — بعض السيارات سيئه جداً *2025-01-17, version 6.18.0* حجزت سياره فئه متوسطه موديل ٢٠٢٥ عن طريق التطبيق و للاسف عند وصولي اخبروني انها غير متاحه ، ولا يوجد غير سياره فئه اصغر و موديل ٢٠٢٣. رضيت بها و عندما استلمتها وجدت حالتها سيئه جداً و متسخه. حمالة الكوب مكسوره، حامي الشمس فوق الرأس غير موجوده ، المساعدات بها مشكله و السياره غير متوازنه ، رائحة السياره سجاير. عندما قدمت شكوى تم تعريضي ب ٢٠ ريال عن اليومين، ١٠ ريال لكل يوم. في المستقبل لن استخدم التطبيق، ساذهب بدون حجز واذا لم اجد السياره المناسبه ساذهب الى مكان اخر. ### 2/5 — Good until you need a refund *2025-01-07, version 6.18.0* They owed me a refund since I returned the car earlier. They said it will be refunded automatically. Later I received an email saying that the refund cannot be completed (from their payment processor) and nothing more. Tried to call their customer service but it’s all automated. Had to go to their website and complain. Received a message with a link asking me to complete bank details. I entered the info and it says it’s wrong. No idea what’s wrong. I gave up. Will not use Yelo in the future. ### 1/5 — Worst rental experience *2025-01-03, version 6.18.0* I was a customer for yelo for 8 years then they became the worst company ever and the customer care team is the worst also They established a new application called weem and it’s also the worst Not recommended ### 1/5 — Be careful when dealing with Yelo *2024-10-13* Be careful! Their discount/voucher/coupon codes do NOT get applied to the price! If I have enough time I will report it to the ministry of commerce as I have screenshots of the entire rip off! If you enter a code, it will show you that it is valid and view its discount details BUT it won’t apply it - the price does not get changed at all! This is probably the worst car rental in the entire globe! No phone support neither WhatsApp ! I asked them through email to let someone call me but they ignored it! After making the poking, I tried to access it before four hours of booking to check the location. I figured out that I need to execute the booking. After pressing one execute, the car was not ready, and I couldn’t change the date as there is no car in that location at that time How come the application accept my booking and there is no car in the location Why would you accept a booking if there is no car ready? And when I try to cancel the booking, they ask it for around 300 SAR THIS IS COMPLETELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY PLEASE CANCEL THE BOOKING AND GIVE ME MY MONEY BACKg ### 1/5 — A *2026-06-14, version 6.24.5* Do not use yelo , they are master of hidden fees. Even after requesting the manager, the lady refused to transfer me to her supervisor!! I highly do not recommend to rent the car from yelo due to their bad customer service. I been a loyal customer with them for many years, onetime, I asked them about upgrading my membership, they said YOU HAVE TO RENT DIRECTLY FROM US. After that information, I rented cars from them through their official application using contracts and spending more than 15 thousands, then I asked them, why my membership still the same, then they said, MEMBERSHIPS DO NOT INCLUDE CONTRACTS. Basically, I do not recommend them at all! ### 1/5 — Dirty Car with Cigarette Smell and Poor Service *2026-02-25, version 6.24.3* The car had a strong and unpleasant cigarette smell that made it very uncomfortable to use, especially with a child in the car, even for short trips. I rented the car from Makkah and requested a child seat in advance. After arriving in Jeddah, I visited three different branches and was told it was not available anywhere except at the Jeddah Airport branch. When I finally went to the airport branch, the child seat was actually available, but the employee refused to provide it, claiming it had to remain at the airport to avoid a fine from the Civil Aviation Authority. Because of the bad condition of the car and the failure to provide the requested child seat, I canceled the contract and rented from another company instead. I reserved a Toyota Korolla 2021 from the Application. I made a mistake in the pick-up date but at the last moment I got a good customer service through chatting inside the app. And the pick-up time extended for 3 or 4 hours. When I arrived at the airport no car was available except Hyundai Kona 2020 which is from a higher class. I taken this car, it was nice, clean and full of fuel. I used it for 9 days without any problem.
