## What is Yepan?

Read your own ebooks with a paper-like page curl, then leave a thought in the margin. Yepan combines a local EPUB and PDF reader with handwritten annotations for iPhone and iPad.

The app interface is currently in Simplified Chinese. Books and documents must be imported by the user.

TURN A PAGE, LIKE PAPER
Watch each page curl as you drag, with gentle shading and faint print-through. Page curl is the default for new libraries. Choose horizontal paging, vertical paging, or continuous scrolling to suit your reading habits.

BRING YOUR OWN BOOKS
Import EPUB, PDF, TXT, MOBI, AZW3, DRM-free AZW, and FB2 files through the system Files picker. Once imported, read your local files offline without creating an account. New installations start with an empty library; Yepan does not provide an online bookstore or bundled books.

GIVE YOUR WORDS ROOM
Read two-page spreads on iPad in landscape, or a single page on iPhone and in portrait. Adjust text size and paper colors for text ebooks. View PDF pages in their original proportions and pinch to zoom into details.

READ, WRITE, REMEMBER — IN-APP PURCHASE
Use Apple Pencil to write, circle, and mark PDF pages. Highlight selectable ebook text, add handwritten margin notes, or write directly over paragraphs. Choose pens, highlighters, erasers, colors, and stroke widths, with undo and redo.

KEEP YOUR PLACE AND YOUR IDEAS
Books, reading progress, and annotations are saved on your device. Reopen a book to continue reading. Browse a grid or list, mark favorites, and rename your books. Export annotated PDFs through the system share sheet.

ANNOTATION LIFETIME
Importing, reading, and page curl are free. A one-time non-consumable purchase permanently unlocks handwriting, drawing, text highlights, and margin notes. No subscription or automatic renewal. Pricing is shown by the App Store in your local currency. Restore your purchase with the same Apple Account. Existing books and annotations remain viewable.

BEFORE YOU START
• Import your own books and documents. Screenshots show imported examples.
• DRM-protected books, encrypted PDFs, and files larger than 256 MB are not supported.
• Paragraph handwriting adjusts with text layout. Use PDF when precise, fixed-layout annotation matters.
• Complex EPUB layouts may differ from the original. Scanned PDFs support handwriting; OCR text recognition is not available.
• Books and annotations stay on the current device. Cross-device cloud sync is not available.
• The app interface is in Simplified Chinese.
