### 1/5 — paid

only ten memories free

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for trying my app! I'm sorry if you were surprised by the 10-memory paywall (it's mentioned on the App Store and the Settings screen), but I'd rather charge a small fee instead of using ads or collecting & selling data. This way, you can explore the features freely and only pay if you love it, without any ads or privacy concerns. Hope you understand.

### 5/5 — Love This App

Love this app.it is a simple journal app..that makes it easy to enter my info. You can tag each entry to reflect entry subject. Used later when doing searches. Each entry can also hold an image. There is a memory feature that will display for random days from the past so you can look down memory lane. Price is right..get it .

### 5/5 — Amazing!

This app is so cool and so intuitive and simple, yet SO POWERFUL! I’ve been looking for an app that does exactly this and it was so hard to find!

You can log events quickly and then categorize them. I love how fast you can filter by tags. I love the gradient on the items based on tags. I love the import and export feature. I can tell the developer has put lots of love into this app. Thank you so much!!

I would love to see a lifetime option but I also know that the subscription is well worth it and a great price for the value 😊

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the kind words! Reviews like this make the whole thing worth it.

### 5/5 — Simple, private, searchable

*2024-05-12*

I like this app! I also have Apple’s Journal app, which I have used several times. But I like three things about Yesterdays— 1) it’s simple (type stuff, keep photos, add tags or not). No account except Apple ID, no credit card, etc; 2) it’s private (think Facebook without Facebook); 3) it’s searchable (if you put in tags). Which is one feature Apple’s Journal doesn’t have. I also use this developer’s app, Defer, which is like a quick note-taking space for things I can then sort to different apps later. This guy is on to something and I like his approach. I did purchase the yearly sub for Yesterdays, but not for Defer yet.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the kind words!

### 5/5 — Clean and Quick

If you’re reminiscing about your day, kids, dog, whatever, just take 5 minutes to Yesterday it. The app does a great job the next time you open it reminding you of the little joys in your life.

### 5/5 — Clean design

Love the simple interface and great design. Easy to store and then rediscover notes

### 5/5 — Actually works!

*2024-02-16*

As a dad I’ve used several apps to write down things my kids said - Evernote, Ulysses, Notion, Obsidian. But this is actually simple enough that it keeps me going, and the entries aren’t mixed in with all my other writing. Importing/exporting is clutch.

### 5/5 — Perfect memory tracker!

*2024-02-16*

I love the intention of this app! Such a great way to slow down and remember the important moments in life we might otherwise forget if not written down. I love the ability to tag people and add photos. I also really appreciate the privacy aspect of this app, makes me feel comfortable writing stories about my kids that I wouldn’t do on other apps. Such a great user experience, so simple to interact with, very smart design!

### 5/5 — Perfect app to remember!

*2024-01-22*

Absolutely love the simplicity and ease of use. Exactly what I was hoping to find when it comes to capturing the everyday memories, moments and quotes. As a dad with 4 kids—there’s always something to capture. Love it!
