The journal on iPhone can sync to iCloud, but can not be synchronized to iPad。confirmed the setting on iOS & iPadOS are correct and using iCloud for storage. The OS version are iOS 26.4.2 & iPadOS 26.4.2。

I depend on this app, especially when i travel. Very easy to use, and always supportive through the fog of everyday life. I am accustomed to Carol Anthony’s interpretation, though sometimes the advice i seek is more easily understood by one of the other 4 interpretations.

I’ve been casting coins and dividing yarrow stalks for at least 40 years and this app provides the best and most educative I Ching experience outside of sitting with the coins or stalks, the texts, some incense, and the time to meditate and reflect as you build line by line, trigram to trigram, and the moving lines of the hexagrams. With a wonderful library of translations and commentaries available, this app offers the chance to study and meditate on the cycles of change reflected in every reading. 5 stars easily.

I’ve had this app for ~11 months and have consistently used it regularly for that long! I just checked and I’ve casted 6419 times. 

Tips if you’re considering buying it: for a long time I thought you had to shake the phone to cast, but turns out you can “pinch” them with your finger to throw. (but shaking the phone is still the better method.)

it lets you use a variety of methods to cast, most notably coins *and* stalks. the stalks method goes through all the same steps as IRL.

I eventually bought the Wilhelm books, which are 100% optional (all three were $15.) The purpose f the books is to show up on the commentary of your cast. The app already gives you a few decent books to choose from but Wilhelm is obviously the best, and the app lets you read the book on its own, too. 

hyping up this app because it’s the best i ching app by far. it’s not free but the quality is definitely worth the price. it’s not supposed to be “fancy”, it just has all the features you need for i ching reading, which other apps lack, imo.

Lots to recommend. Steady and stable - full suite of I Ching books for interpretation. If you’re looking to have the Sage on speed dial (within etiquette of course) this is the way.

To have the complete Wilhelm translation is already amazing, the diary makes it sublime, the sync with Cloud takes it to another dimension!  The library of translations is also fantastic and the choices of method are very satisfying.  WILL NOT SYNC JOURNAL.  Hoping for correction.

Constantly shuts down within seconds of opening on IPad and iPhone. Can’t send feedback on iPhone or iPad because it shuts down so quickly. When writing queries on MacBook the autofill erases words so the only way I can complete a query is to string words together into a single long word that the autofill doesn’t recognize.

This was a great Yi Jing app for years, but it has been extremely slow to load on all of my devices for several months now.  I can't take it anymore.

This was one of my favourite apps to use (especially the translations by Balkin and Hilary Barrett), however I was disappointed to discover that I am no longer able to import backups! I have deleted my library in an attempt to clean up my readings, and then re-import some of my backups, but all of them displayed an error message. That is a lot of lost history that I am now sadly unable to access. Hopefully this will be fixed somehow.

I love this because I can always do the sticks. I’m distressed because I don’t use IOS stuff anymore and can’t get this from Flat Land for my other phone or tablets. When this old dinosaur apple tablet dies my fav I Ching will go away and I’ll be sad.

This is a beautiful application and works great. Has been a part of my recovery growth for 23 years.

Beautiful, easy to use, and a gateway into the profound truths of the I Ching. Access to multiple books of interpretation makes this a six star app. There is no better choice. It is beneficial to cross the great river and get this app.
