Sound almost entirely doesn’t work. One attempt froze the app too.

I am a complete beginner when it comes to learning Chinese and I wanted to start with an app that would focus on pronunciation. From information I’ve seen online this seems to be a good app for people who are just starting out with learning Chinese. I like that the app has the ability to grade your pronunciations as this was one of my biggest concerns with self teaching myself the language. However I’m giving this app 2 stars because it is severely lacking when it comes to stability. For context I am using an IPhone XR which should definitely be able to handle this app and yet I have had the app crash multiple times while doing the first pronunciation quiz. I intend to keep trying this app but this is a very disappointing first impression.

The sounds come a little bit late and not very clear when I press the sound button to hear the sounds. But the explanations are very well done. It’s easy to track progress and has good visuals. But it’s not very immersive when it comes to learning.
