This app doesn’t appear to work after updating to iOS 17.  The otoscope camera view is just white… no picture. Tried reinstalling the app, forgetting and reading the WiFi connection… problem persists

Used this with the “JZHOMMY” ear cleaning camera for over a year. Just stopped connecting to the device in mid-October 2022. No support from the developer or product manufacturer/seller.

I followed directions step-by-step.  I connected to the otoscope Wi-Fi.   The lights on the otoscope come on, but the app never connects.  It just says ‘Connecting…’.  No image ever comes op.  I’ve deleted & attempted to start again from the beginning.  Results always the same.   Useless waste of money.

After strictly following directions with several attempts at connecting to Wi-Fi the settings first finds the device then will not connect. I started all over from the beginning and same result. Does not ask for password.

I have been using this app with my otoscope for a few years now and it works flawlessly. 
I like that I can take photos and video if need be. Good app!

You don’t need a password to access the device WiFi, apparently you used to but they changed it to make it easier. I had to ask and they clarified this for me so hopefully the manual gets updated or people see this comment. 

You need to reconnect to the device every time you take it out to use it, but so far I haven’t had an issue with this since it lets the ear cleaner connect to other phones with the same device.

I’ve found it’s easier to connect to the device first before opening the app, and that there are sometimes connection issues if the device is put near a magnet or the storage case is too close. Easily fixed by resetting the tool in the case and trying again. 

Also, just found out you can tap the icon in the bottom left of the app while looking in your ear to change the view to left or right ear. Super helpful!
