## What is YieldVault?

YieldVault helps restaurants, butcher shops and food-service teams track actual weights, cutting yields and portion costs from receiving through daily counts.

CATCH WEIGHT
Receive bags with gross, tare and net weights. Record lots and use-by dates, compare received weights with invoices, and follow the remaining weight and cost as each bag is used.

CUTTING AND PORTION COSTS
Record finished cuts, reusable trim and discarded weight separately. Review yield and portion costs while keeping bone-in and boneless products distinct.

DAILY COUNTS
Reconcile opening stock, prepared portions, sales and physical closing counts in Daily Counts. Leave unknown values blank and record zero only when confirmed. Explain closing variances and retain earlier revisions when a count is reopened.

CHEF'S DESK
Review receiving, yield and waste records that need attention. Work alongside your existing spreadsheet while using YieldVault for bag-level records and count reconciliation.

YieldVault also includes recipe costing, vendor records, and butcher, bar and wine tools. Optional AI invoice assistance extracts fields for your review before saving. Manual weight entry works without connected equipment.

Catch Weight now follows bags from receiving through cutting and portion costs, with finished cuts, reusable trim and discarded weight recorded separately.

Daily Counts adds a dedicated workspace for opening stock, prepared portions, sales and physical closing counts. Unknown values stay blank, closing variances require an explanation, and reopening preserves earlier revisions.

Bone-in and boneless products remain distinct. This update also improves sign-in, native purchase handling and recovery from interrupted requests.
