The app connection worked for the first month or so and then is always showing that the device is offline. There is no way to delete the original camera profile and re-add the device to see if that fixes the problem. All in all, a waste of $. ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2015-07-14, version 1.7* When you buy the rocam this app is the only option you have to view it from. The app will not connect much of the time. When it does connect it disconnects almost immediately. It almost never works. It is extremely frustrating and a waste of money. Very useful app! ### 4/5 — Nothing wrong here.... *2016-02-09, version 1.8.1* Maybe I don't have the update that others are having trouble with since I just got my cameras? I can connect fine. Swiping on the mobile app moves the camera a little too much (too far) but other than that, it's great for the price of the camera. Computer program is better for controlling the camera but I don't often take my computer when I leave the house. ### 3/5 — Apple Watch integration *2016-04-11, version 1.8.4* It works okay. Most the time it functions correctly. Why was FTP support removed from the app? Also, it would be great to see remote viewing from the Apple Watch. ### 3/5 — Update is a little better *2016-03-03, version 1.8.2* Update: March 3rd, 2016 ~ this latest update is a little bit better. It actually now allows me to see the camera and talk through the camera, without dropping the connection frequently. Now, the only thing that is still lacking is the arrows that allowed me to move the camera or rather pan the camera left to right and up and down. The arrows provide better control whereas constantly having to swipe the camera has become very tedious and slow. If you can updated to where the arrows are back and leave everything else as is, I think we might have somewhat of a winner. So far, three stars. Previous Review: February 2016 ~ So, I updated the app, and now I cannot get the camera to work. It keeps kicking me out of the camera and the camera won't move. The left, Right, up, and down controls are gone. The update was not a good update. I would recommend going back to what the software was before. The software works pretty good before, although you have to have a pretty good network in order for it to move swiftly. But the camera app before was about a 4 star rating. ### 3/5 — My cameras don't connect *2016-01-31, version 1.8.1* I just did the update and my cameras don't connect anymore. I deleted them and re added them. Nothing. ### 3/5 — It's the only option *2015-05-31, version 1.7* If you buy a Rocam, this app appears to be the only option. I give 3 stars because the app does a lot of what it's designed to do, but there are some issues. Here they are: --poor English. Labels and descriptions are not very good and are confusing because the best English descriptors are not being used. --design is lacking a nice flow and fit. Everything is kind of crammed in to fit. Functional but not a good design. --I'm having issues with some functionality. App seems to have a mind of its own. When I set the Time zone to Mountain Time, it accepts the change, but a few minutes later it changes itself back to something else. When I turn the alarm sound off, it always turns it back on. So if I have the motion detector turned on, it makes the alarm sound every time the motion detector gets tripped. --this last issue could be a problem with the camera and not the app. I'm not sure. But, when the motion detector is turned on, the alarm gets tripped constantly, even by nothing, it seems. So, I cannot use the motion detector to alert me or to record because I'm getting dozens of false alarms within one hour. This app or camera have a lot of issues. I do like the camera. Everything else functions very well.
