However when you’re are in the “find a class” section. When you are looking at classes to book, the days selected at the top to not correspond with what the list shows. If you select Monday, it shows the classes for Tuesday. If you select any day of the week, it shows the following day. The green booking button disappears after you leave that day and if you forget to ‘add to calendar’ you do not see your booking unless you open the event itself. Turns out making the barcode larger by tapping the icon And turning it to landscape view, i.e. not vertical, allows you to activate the reader from as far as 5-7 feet! It’s convenient to be able to record data by taking a photo of the workout summary. ### 3/5 — Useful app but I wish it worked with Apple Watch *2018-01-09* The app works well with Precor and Strava. The interface to eGym is weird. It says open on App Store and it’s not clear if it’s tracking or not. I use Apple Watch to track classes like Pilates as well as for swimming - it even knows what stroke you do. So it would be much more useful if it tracked using the Apple Watch or maybe synced with Apple Health on an iPhone - but then you’d have to be careful not to get duplicate readings. Requires multiple steps to set up logins for Classes at your location. Then after filling out name, address, etc. you get and error. The rest of this critique is from IPad. ** Not a user friendly app. First off I was annoyed that I had to have an account. I didn’t on web version. Why couldn’t we enter our member number like the libraries let you in entering our library number. But, OK. But when I tried to create account, I found the stated requirement for password does not match what is actually required. It says password must be 8 characters, contain an alphabetic, plus either a number or symbol. I entered nine characters, alphabetic and numeric, but that failed. I entered a capital alphabetic character, a number, and a symbol, which worked. So what are the rules? Next, trying to find a swimming appointment was not simple. Instead of having an expand/collapse choice for each date, one has to page and page and page down to find date through all the lists of slots. PLUS, it does not show full classes on first page like the web version does . So you have to go into each entry to find class closed, and then return. There should also be a choice to search on a particular date or a particular Y and a date and Y. I was hoping the app was better than web version, but it is not. Phooey! ### 1/5 — Buggy. Privacy invasive. The “Full” tag is missing on some full classes *2020-06-27* Privacy invasive. Tracks your location when not using the app. Buggy. The “full” tag is missing on some full classes. Current behavior: On the class search results page, there is no tag for “full” on all full classes. Expected behavior: If a class is full, on the class search results page the “full” tag is displayed. Steps to reproduce: Select “find a class”. Filter for Sequoia YMCA and lap swim. Note that none of the search results have the”full” tag applied, though each class is full. ———- Buggy. Not possible to book circuit training class. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2025-05-08* and limited. No one seems to be able to set my correct Home Club or allow the Y barcode be moved to the Apple Wallet. ### 2/5 — Um… *2024-04-12, version 1.45* Why does it take me back to the webpage to register for classes? And then has to make me sign in AGAIN to get to the webpage?? Please work on this a little more. ### 2/5 — Apple Watch update *2020-07-06* Since the Apple Watch update my info hasn’t been synching properly. Keeps track of almost all of my exercise including egym, and gathering information from my Apple Watch. Keeping track of workouts and providing incentives to keep you going.
