The update has made it SO much harder to do that, especially if you visit multiple locations, which I’m sure many users do. The update has made the interface so much worse, with so many unnecessary steps and makes it impossible to quickly look at the available classes for the day. The website works 100x better so I just won’t be using the app anymore. ### 1/5 — Fix this! *2026-01-04, version 2.7.0* New app is significantly worse than previous version. You cannot even see your local Y’s weekly hours. And home page is your membership agreement lol ### 1/5 — Not an improvement *2025-06-27, version 2.7.0* This new app is much less useful than the prior version. Did no one consider what users actually want from the app? The class schedule is now incredibly hard to read, the sort option doesn’t work properly, and the options don’t reflect how anyone actually searches schedules. And the app logs me out constantly, which makes the scan ID option useless. Plus the error code for the logout doesn’t disappear unless manually closed. Really disappointed in the YMCA with this new app. Almost as bad as when they got rid of towels. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2025-05-24, version 2.7.0* App allows me to log in using the one time code option but that’s apparently not the latest version of the app! How is that possible? When trying to log in using the password option, I am not receiving an email link to reset my password. ### 1/5 — Still glitchy *2025-04-10, version 2.7.0* The new version does have an improved interface format, but I still have to reboot my phone every few times I use the program because it opens with a blank screen. Hire a teenager and fix the problem. It can’t be that hard. ### 1/5 — Get server error when try to add Barcode pass to Apple wallet *2025-03-05, version 2.7.0* This new app won’t let me add barcode entry pass to Apple wallet l, I just get a “server error” when I tried to have the pass added to Apple wallet. Tried it a number of times over the last couple days and just doesn’t work. I got a server every time. I never had that problem with the old app so I had to reinstall the old app just to get a barcode pass to scan into the building. So this new app is a step backward if you asked me unless they get it ### 1/5 — Annoying! *2025-03-04, version 2.7.0* The Categories option in the Classes section under Schedule doesn’t hold choices so they have to be reselected each time after you leave the Classes page. You might go to Programs and come right back to Classes, but your choices are already gone. Also annoying that you have to select choices one by one instead of checking off all your choices at once. The old app works better. Why couldn’t you simply have added a program sign-up function to the old app. ### 2/5 — App changes are so bad *2026-06-21, version 3.4.1* Why did the Y change this app? I used to be able to easily look at classes from all east bay locations. ### 2/5 — Login every time? Downgrade. *2025-06-02, version 2.7.0* The latest version of the app makes me log in every time I open it. It does not integrate well with Apples Face ID. Why? Log in is so slow and cumbersome, I have started using Guest mode because… I just want to check the class schedule, folks. ### 3/5 — No class descriptions *2025-03-13, version 2.7.0* For some reason, there is no way to view class descriptions!
