### 3/5 — Needs improvement

*2026-07-01, version 2.1.9*

This is a much better app than the previous version, I had no problem logging into the app. I wish they had the gym/pool/classes schedule available on the app. Maybe it will be available in future updates.

### 2/5 — Forever to load

*2026-06-28, version 2.1.8*

The app is incredibly cumbersome to use. Web pages take forever to load and require too many screens to get to the class schedules.

### 4/5 — App Functionality

*2026-06-27*

Make a way to change my home gym. Also when using a filter to look for group classes at multiple gyms at the same time, keep the chosen filter through closing and opening the app again. Don’t reset it to just my home gym when I come back the next day. It’s really annoying.

### 2/5 — Convoluted, incomplete, and WILL take u back to the nightmarish, browser-based Daxko.

*2026-06-11*

While this “app” is a slight improvement, it’s certainly not self-contained nor able to function independently—no WAY this should be assumed that you can get everything done here. It’s like the developers stopped short of actually finishing it, releasing it mid-swim. It’s little more than a general landing page of sorts with limited functionality that serves only to circuitously get you back to the frustrating, browser-based, 1990s nightmare that is Daxko the moment you want to look or sign up for programs or events. I sure hope YMCA isn’t paying actual money for Daxko: “Dark Ages” comes to mind. The fact that YMCA360 leads users BACK to Daxko is little more than a lazy bait and switch back to where we were BEFORE you launched this app. I often try to imagine older members attempting to navigate EITHER of these two poorly designed, non-intuitive platforms (Y360 or Daxko)…my guess is that they give up and ask the front desk clerk to help them. Do better soon, please. Surely there’s a generous and talented app guru out there who would like to donate their skills to help your local, non-profit YMCA?

### 4/5 — Add features

*2026-06-06*

I do like this app and its ability to allow me to track my workouts. However it lacks some needed features. One is the ability to edit what we enter or remove something due to an error in typing. Also add a lap counter for those of us who swim laps so we can track our laps daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.

### 2/5 — Needs Apple Wallet support

*2026-05-30, version 2.1.8*

Please add Apple wallet support for membership cards. That is really the only thing I need this app to do

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-03-17, version 2.1.7*

One of those companies that make it beyond difficult to cancel a membership but if you want to sign up it’s 1-2-3 - JUST CANCELED MY MEMBERSHIP due to small, outdated gyms where grown men walk naked around kids

### 2/5 — Need add to calendar

*2026-03-17, version 2.1.7*

Please add the ability to save classes to my calendar. The old app was better because of this.

### 2/5 — Glitchy and busy

*2026-02-20, version 2.1.6*

It’s good for checking in with the barcode, but that’s it. It’s too busy and there’s too much going on in the app to navigate anywhere as a slow process. To register for a class you never know whether it’s going to go through or glitch and then you can’t get in the class.

### 1/5 — Issue with logging in

*2026-02-05, version 2.1.4*

Email on file can’t be found. Checked with the Y in person same email can be found. So this app is useless to me.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2026-01-27, version 2.1.4*

The Y doesn’t update the info on the app any better than just calling the office.
Still inaccurate info

### 1/5 — User hostile

*2026-01-24, version 2.1.4*

This app seems to have been designed by a novice. Tedious to navigate and not at all user friendly.

### 3/5 — Wallet

*2026-01-18, version 2.1.4*

Why can’t I put my check in barcode in my Apple wallet. The other app was better!

### 2/5 — Not much use

*2026-01-16*

This app gives you the bare minimum. The only thing it has going for it is it allows you to check in with your phone, but my previous YMCA app let you do the same thing while also allowing you to add a membership card to Apple wallet. All buttons for class registration and schedules are hyperlinks that open in browser. Other than that, I see no real point in this app existing, unless you watch the YMCA fitness channel provided.

### 3/5 — Missing Data

*2026-01-15, version 2.1.4*

Mostly great; can’t get all of my workout data to sync from my iPhone which is really annoying.

### 4/5 — Nice App - Feature Request

*2026-01-14*

I’m glad the Y finally centralized their mobile app and check in process. The app is nice, although there’s a lot of unrelated content in there that clutters the UI and all the useful things I need related to my gym are nested and harder to find. Example: how to craft videos are on my homepage, but to find the group fitness schedule I have to click on My Y and then scroll all the way to the bottom to find a time labeled schedules. As a feature request, please add the location to the calendar entry when I click to add a class to my calendar. Our old app used to do that. It also allowed to add the series, not just an individual class.

### 2/5 — Still not great

*2026-01-06, version 2.1.3*

I live in a city where I can access five different Y’s quite easily. The app only allows me to view one. Boo

### 2/5 — Always crashing

*2026-01-05, version 2.1.3*

The past several weeks it continuously crashes. Also frequently doesn’t record my on site visits, thus missing out on points.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — My foster children’s names remain

*2026-07-21*

My foster children have returned home to their parents (L.A. and J.J). I requested that their names be removed from my account since they no longer live with me. They were removed from the computer at the Y but both of them remain on my app when I go to check in. Their names are there when I slide to look for my other children so we can check in. I hope this won’t be an issue if their parents add them to a ymca account. No one has been able to help me remove their names and I have reported this issue to the office at least 5 times. I even deleted the app multiple times and added it back. Their names remain. This is a serious issue since they were a ward of the state. I wish someone could help me update my account.

### 1/5 — Can’t love the app unless you love your branch and ONLY your branch

*2026-07-12*

There is no way to look at schedules at any other nearby wise. The old app used to support this. But not this one! Even when you switch. Reference to look at another location, the schedules all continue to point to your original home location. Oh, and by the way, there’s no easy way to even temporarily change your home why to another to look at it schedules. You are blind for considering other options and schedules. So much for YMCA of Central Maryland selling the fact that there are so many locations and you can conveniently use them all. “Conveniently “meaning with no idea of the schedules?

### 1/5 — Totally useless for my Y

*2026-06-05, version 2.1.8*

Everything redirects to my Y website from the app and I can’t save anything to my schedule. What’s the point of an app if it takes you to the website? Absolutely useless waste of space app

### 1/5 — Pitiful performance

*2026-05-06, version 2.1.8*

It just took 12 minutes to find the registration page. For Pete’s sake

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-04-27, version 2.1.8*

Horrible app i mean i cant even log in this app just doesnt work

### 1/5 — Bad.

*2026-04-20, version 2.1.7*

This app gives you a convenient way to pull up your membership card bar code to scan in. That’s basically the extent of its usefulness.

### 1/5 — It doesn't really count the workouts

*2026-04-20, version 2.1.7*

YMCA360 is failing at a basic function: it does not properly track workouts for challenges. I’ve completed multiple workouts that are not recorded, and no points or progress are given.

This makes challenges pointless. This is a serious issue that needs to be fixed immediately. I expect a response and a prompt resolution.

### 1/5 — Terrible App!

*2026-04-18, version 2.1.7*

I love the Y but this app is terrible! It is nearly impossible to find anything on it. Would not recommend!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t always work.

*2026-04-09, version 2.1.7*

The check-ins don’t always log and the app doesn’t pull data from Apple Health even through its connected. Very poor app.

### 1/5 — Completely useless app

*2026-04-07*

App is completely useless. It sets your home gym to wherever you joined through & you can’t access anything for any other gyms. So if your company membership is based in another locale? Too bad, you can’t use the app for the one in your city. Traveling? Can’t look up anything for any other gyms. One gym has an indoor pool but I can’t access anything on it. Another gym I might go to for trainer availability, but I can’t see that either. Bc none of that is at the one gym corporate signed us up through. Can’t even use it for scanning in bc I have to go to the desk to check in. I have no idea why they switched to this app when the previous one was actually far more usable for ppl who actually go to the gym(s). Completely useless app at this point.

### 5/5 — Love this Y 360 app

*2026-03-25, version 2.1.7*

### 5/5 — Better Schedules & Challengea

*2025-12-22, version 2.1.2*

The schedules are so much easier to navigate and I love the accessible fitness challenges and prizes!

### 5/5 — New wellness content!

*2025-11-21*

I love all the functions this app has connecting me to my local Y. Easy to earn and redeem rewards with the points my Y has setup.
I also love that there are constantly new videos, for my workout, family content, and even activities for my young kids — safe knowing they aren’t going to be exposed to anything inappropriate

### 5/5 — Ymca 360 MTRYMCA

*2025-09-29, version 2.1.1*

Great app but ONLY if properly UPDATED

This app is a big improvement over its predecessor. It makes scheduling workouts quick and easy.

The app needs to be updated. I watched three videos today and did not get the points

### 5/5 — Awesome app!!

I love this app. It makes scanning into the Y so much easier, finding schedules, and know what events are going on.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2025-06-18, version 2.0.19*

Great app for YMCA programming

### 5/5 — Does it all

*2025-04-25, version 2.0.14*

Worlds perfectly for checkins and finding up to date schedule information. Thanks!
