Why the app for the yn360 mini is way beater then this one? 

You should put control for the brightness on the Rgb mode. It is hard to adjust.

The app would be great and straight forward if only the colour wheel was not the circle, this adds all the colours together making the colour washed out and white looking. I think a great solution would be making an individual slider for each green red and blue, just like on the light. It may take a few more seconds to change to the desired colour in app but would save a ton of stress on set when having to bring lights down and manually changing them on the light itself.

These lights are incredible value and quality and it’s a shame the app barely works. The colour wheel doesn’t give you true colour. It’s all washed out and white because all 3 of the RGB channels are activated when I only want 100% Red and zero blue or green. 

I wish I could chose the % of RGB like it controls on the unit itself.

I own two lights and it’s a shame the pairing of multiple units doesn’t work because the Bluetooth that auto connects is instant and amazing. 

Also lots of the text is not in English.

It’s updated lately but the problems still persist. 

Please fix this app. I would gladly buy 2 more if the app was better.

Man kann das Panel über die App aus/einschalten sowie Farbtemperatur ändern. Aber das Interface ist unübersichtlich und nicht einmal komplett in Englisch verfügbar. Kommunikation funktioniert nur zum Gerät und nicht zurück, also keine Chance für Akkustand etc.
Beim Auswählen der RGB Farben kann nur ein mittelmäßiger Mischwert erzielt werden. Reine Farben erzeugt die App nicht, das geht nur manuell.
Besserung wäre wünschenswert, zumal man für die Wifi Funktion beim Gerätekaif bezahlt.

Funktioniert mit YN360 nur noch eingeschränkt. Farbmodus ist nicht mehr über die App steuerbar. Das ging mal früher. Daher ist die App nutzlos.
Nachtrag: Auch der YN360III Pro funktioniert nicht mit der App. Update ist also nötig.

Extremely basic, yet buggy, operation of the lights.  Color control doesn’t work with more than one at a time, if you want each of multiple units to be different colors.  Was hoping for sequencing too, but none.  Text labels are in Chinese.

I think is the perfect tool for set up our lights,with one iPhone I can operate until 8 different lights. Currently I have 5 lights and I expect to buy more.

Found in the manual you just have to hold the “Bat” button for a few seconds. It will show “H1” then press the “Bat” button again to change the channel. So simple, I hope others see this!

So far this app for works very well despite the lack of instructions. It would also be nice if the picture on the app was of the proper LED light as it does not show the 360. Connects to my LED wand as soon as I turn Bluetooth on my phone and I was easily able to change light color levels with only a second of delay.

The Bluetooth connection works great.  The brightness and colour controls are basic but easy to use.
Occasionally on the iPhone app the colour wheel is missing. Maybe something to do with the start up order?
Could do with some memory banks to save preset colours etc. But overall it’s really handy.

Make sure you are mindful of setting the channels on your YN360 lights (long press the battery button until you get “H1” then press it again to change to “H2” “H3” etc). The app has very little instruction but if you get those channels set up it’s pretty straight forward. Very easy to sync (you don’t have to do any pairing, it’s automatic). The biggest let down is the RGB controls. If you only have one light then RGB control is pretty straight forward but trying to use multiple lights there’s a glaring gap in the apps functionality. I can’t figure out how to get one specific channel to RGB as when I bring up the RGB selector it just controls one of the lights at random, regardless of channel. It might be use error, but the app and instructions are worthless so if there’s a way to do this it’s going to take trial and error. Ultimately though, controlling RGB, 3200k, and 5600k on a single light is no problem, or controlling 3200/5600 (but no RGB) on multiple lights is also no problem.

Red does not change to red but a bright pink, no way to dim the brightness of the colours too. Channel function works perfect. Please fix

It’s nice being able to change the color with this app, I just wish the hues for the color options could be adjusted manually as well because certain colors will have a little bit of light in it and can’t get a rich blue color for example. Wishing for an update!
