## What is Yoga Pranayama?

Pranayama ist ein zentraler Zweig des Yoga, der sich ausschließlich mit der Atmung befasst. Die Atmung des Menschen geschieht größtenteils unbewusst und tendiert dazu im Alltag sehr oberflächlich zu werden.  

Im Yoga machen wir uns die Atmung bewusst, um sie länger und tiefer werden zu lassen. Tiefe und gleichmäßige Atmung beruhigt das Nervensystem und reduziert Stress.

Diese Pranayama App kannst du gezielt benutzen, um im Alltag Stress abzubauen, deine Atmung zu trainieren und sie bewusster werden zu lassen. 

Richard führt Dich durch drei Übungen in dieser App: Spinal-, Wechsel- und Vollatmung. Du kannst wählen, um seine Übungen mit oder ohne Hintergrundgeräusche zu hören.

Seit über 35 Jahren praktiziert Richard Hackenberg Asanas, Pranayama und Meditation. Seit 17 Jahren unterrichtet er Yoga, organisiert Seminare über Pranayama, Anatomie und Yogatherapie und bildet Yogalehrer aus.
