### 2/5 — Keeps pausing when screen mirroring

*2026-01-25, version 4.1.0*

The app content is good (although could use some background music) but it keeps dropping during screen mirroring, and doing the exercises on a tiny phone screen is inconvenient. Please fix!

### 3/5 — Not What I Remember

*2025-08-14, version 3.3.0*

Yogaia is the app that truly turned me onto yoga. I thought the interface was nice and the instructors relatable (and many). It seems the app is down to only a handful of instructors and the content looks a little meek. I will continue using the app since I paid for it … can’t use it without a subscription, but I’m really sad to see what’s happened to the group. They were pioneering an awesome idea and then got knocked out of the rink by big names like Peloton and Fitness+. So sad!!! 😢

### 3/5 — Great classes, unstable app/website

*2025-02-01, version 3.2.1*

The classes are great, I really appreciate that there’s new classes to try every day. Saying that, many of my favourite yoga and Pilates teachers have left Yogaia, and they haven’t necessarily been replaced with new ones. Thankfully there’s still a range of excellent teachers who have stuck around. My main issue is how increasingly unstable the website and app appear to be. It’s a lottery as to whether I’ll actually be able to access the classes as the platform regularly seems to be down. I hope Yogaia isn’t being wound down, as tbh that’s what it feels like.

### 4/5 — This app is genius, thanks!

*2024-10-14, version 3.1.1*

The first time I downloaded the app was while I was going through a rough patch in London and fancied a cheaper alternative to regular lessons, especially as it felt inconvenient visiting Camden for my fav classes.

The second time was during the Covid lockdown while living in Finland, which was great because I missed the routine of going to yoga classes but didn’t know anywhere locally!

Classes are high quality and I’ve never had trouble with the app. The only problem I’d experienced, however, was when I broke my ankle and couldn’t attend classes for a few months. My subscription renewed because I saw nowhere to conveniently “pause” — thus paying for the service without using it.

Having said that, I guess one simply needs to be patient and/or message customer service in these types of situations because they’re always sympathetic and I’m 100% they will figure something out.

### 4/5 — I like it less than when I first used it

*2023-05-09, version 3.0.3*

I first used this app a year or two ago. I thought it was great! But …Life got busy and I didn’t renew. Just came back, and I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed. There are far fewer classes and trainers to choose from now. Having the recordings does help and it’s a big part of why I rated this so high. The recordings are the redeeming quality. The lack of choices for live classes and trainers are a major detractor.
But the app itself works well. It’s pretty user friendly and easy to use.

### 4/5 — Needs Chromecast support!

*2021-11-27, version 2.9.0*

My Apple TV is in my bedroom, but I do yoga in my living room. We have a Chromecast there, and this is a must-have for me. Please consider adding soon 🧘

### 5/5 — Funny, engaging, knowledgeable teachers and classes

*2021-03-16, version 2.8.3*

Top notch teachers, who care, but also have fun. The range of classes is incredible. I use this app 5 times a week from HIIT to yoga, Pilates, and just relaxing stretches. I don’t need the gym anymore. (Also great when traveling to bring with you)

### 3/5 — tradução

*2021-03-03*

Aplicativo ótimo, mas poderia ter a tradução em português 😣

### 5/5 — Love it

*2021-02-05, version 2.8.3*

I have just renewed after a year's worth of such diverse classes and teachers. This app is such value for money. If I'd have paid for each class individually at my local fitness centre, I can't imagine how much that would have cost. I love that you can mix and match, go live or catch up recorded, all levels are catered for. Any time of day. I love it!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2021-01-25, version 2.8.3*

Love Yogaia! You can participate in live classes where they help you directly (if you turn your camera on), or do recorded classes any time you want. There is a range of types of classes from restorative/yin to athletic, and even meditation classes. I love that there is different lengths of classes from 5mins to 45mins and I can schedule a few movement breaks in during the work-from-home day. The teachers are all great, and really care about, and check in with, their live students to make sure there is proper positioning and that poses are being done right. They will also show modifications for all levels of students. Yogaia is fantastic! Check it out and sign up!

### 5/5 — Keeps yoga in my life

*2021-01-02, version 2.8.3*

Something for everyone, fitness, stretching or relaxing. Live classes in several time zones: UK, US and NZ (a few). I’ve been missing yoga and this app has brought it back. Feels like being in a class.

### 4/5 — Fraudulent

*2020-05-25, version 2.8.1*

App charged my credit card £89 in spite of the fact I cancelled my membership before the end of the trial period. No explanation. Beware!

Update. They subsequently resolved the problem. Thank you

### 5/5 — Good variety

*2020-04-07, version 2.8.1*

Great videos and good varsity of type, length, skill level. I use the already recorded classes as the live classes don’t match my Timezone. My only recommendation would be having an ability to cast the recorded videos from my phone to my tv.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Extremely poor and bizarre customer service

*2025-03-06, version 3.2.3*

I used to think this was a good app but after a bizarre customer experience today I’ve changed my mind. I haven’t used this app in years, wanted to give it a try again. Was offered a trial but they tried to charge me for a year.
Since I’ve found a better alternative, I contacted them asking to delete my account and kindly mentioned that there’s something wrong with their trial and that they tried to charge me anyway.

In response from ERIKA, who clearly woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning, I was told they do not offer trials (even when their app literally did offer me one), and that I’m banned from using this service - just like that with no explanation given. Which is even more silly because the reason why I contacted them was to delete my account. Then of course I had to contact them again, because my account was still there, asking to delete which they finally did.

Awful customer service. Stay away. There’s better alternatives there anyway.

### 1/5 — Confused and bewildered

*2024-11-30, version 3.2.0*

I have a Wellhub subscription through my work, that listed this app as one it provides a subscription too. But, even though the welcome screen said I would have unlimited access to classes, etc. with my program it seems to be behind a paywall cause I couldn’t access anything without selecting a membership. Poorly designed start, resulted in me deleting the app, cause I couldn’t do anything with it. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2024-10-14, version 3.1.1*

Classes continue to change time and be shortened. It’s really disappointing as the subscription price isn’t 25% cheaper. Love the teachers. Yogaia please give your members some consistency and decent length classes.

### 1/5 — Unsubscribed, took my money anyway

*2023-12-12, version 3.0.5*

Got a free month of this app through Boost juice scratchie. Logged in and unsubscribed as didn’t get a chance to use it due to injury. The app has now charged a subscription fee and I can’t log in to check/change anything. It now doesn’t recognise either my login name or password (presumably because I cancelled my account!!). Hit Forgot password to attempt to get back in that way, no email turned up in my inbox or spam folder. Feel like the ‘free trial’ was a ruse to take money. Will now have to dispute the transaction on my credit card as can’t find any other way to get in. Disappointing.

### 1/5 — Warning- No free trial

*2021-08-23, version 2.8.3*

You put all of your information in, and then you can’t access a single work out to try it out without purchasing the entire plan. If you don’t offer a free trial, at least be up front about it so you don’t waste people’s time.

### 1/5 — Free trial scam

*2020-06-08, version 2.8.2*

I just tried to do the yearly subscription with 14 day free trial an it charged me instead. This is not right. Why make it confusing to trick someone out of the free trial????

### 1/5 — Bad app and they charge you left and right

*2020-06-07, version 2.8.2*

I just got double charged! When you sign on for the trial they say they’ll charge you but they’ll refund if you cancel within the 7-day trial. Well, I did cancel pretty early on. Not only did I not get refunded but they charged me another second yearly fee at the end of the trial. Seriously? And the classes are bad: not very professional people, dressed like slobs, moves are either too slow or too fast. You can find much better and more professionally done on YouTube. Now I have to go chase after my money. This should not be the case!!

### 1/5 — 0 FREE content...

*2020-03-22*

There used to be some free classes in this app which made it a good one. It is no longer the case, that make it a ripoff...

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. You can start a free trial and get access to all content. You can cancel anytime before the trial runs out if you do not wish to continue.

### 1/5 — Yogaia

*2019-12-22, version 2.8.1*

How do I delete this app, I never installed it and I don’t want it.

### 1/5 — Why can’t I find any yoga classes that are free all I see is premium

*2019-07-01, version 2.7.1*

Why did you do this? this is made for all people how about you shouldn’t do premium😒 I do not like this app. 👎🏼 bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye👋 see you later alligator 🐊

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Always something to fit my mood and schedule

*2026-08-11, version 4.3.0*

I’ve been using the Yogaia app for a long time now. The mix of class lengths and styles means I can always find something to fit into my schedule or how I’m feeling at the time.

### 5/5 — Great yoga class!

*2026-05-28, version 4.2.0*

I really enjoy the classes. I used the recording. They have short classes to fit my schedule. They all different depends on the teacher and i enjoy them all.

### 5/5 — Best for online live classes!

*2025-11-17, version 4.0.0*

The live classes are a must and the instructors actually notice you (I choose to have camera on and write my needs). I have better help on this app than most of the times I have went to classes in person for pilates and yoga. Instructors don’t always pay attention to form, but this is crucial for both types of exercises. Live Yogaia instructors do this well! Luiz was my first live instructor and I recommend him. I hope to take a class with all the instructors. I am sure they are all great.

### 5/5 — Wonderful app for relaxation

*2025-03-24*

Help me to fully relax everyday with yin

### 5/5 — Absolutely love Patricia’s classes

*2024-10-12, version 3.1.1*

So relaxing and lovely, thank you

### 5/5 — Really excellent app

*2023-12-09, version 3.0.5*

Something here, for everyone. A range of class lengths and types with teachers of different styles. So handy and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Great yoga classes

*2023-11-09, version 3.0.5*

Clearly communicated and well produced. Happy subscriber

### 5/5 — A yoga family

*2022-03-18, version 3.0.0*

I have been with Yogaia for many years. I always love to come back and see my yoga family.

### 5/5 — Super Yoga App

*2021-11-30, version 2.9.0*

Quickly found a 10 minute wake up class. The teacher was clear and well spoken. All movements were easy to see (I was using my phone in the living room). Thank you. A great app.

### 5/5 — Boutique studio feels, very valuable teachings

*2021-03-22, version 2.8.3*

I have been using Yogaia since 2016, and I am now a lifetime member, because I can’t do without it anymore 😄From short yoga sessions as telework breaks, to yoga nidra when I can’t fall asleep, barre and kettle bells to be more active or even self care massages, it’s a nice blend for a more mindful life. My yoga and meditation practices really progressed thanks to the high level quality of the all the teachers. Yogaia feels to me like a little boutique studio where your are familiar to the teachers and they greet you by your name when you enter 🙏😊 Thank you for the good work!
