If there’s any app that should stay logged in, it’s this one ### 4/5 — Almost there *2026-07-18, version 1.54.2* The app is pretty good. Easy to use. Easy to figure out. But could use a couple easy to add features to make it better. 1 - a sort feature when viewing all your devices. 1 have over 140 devices. It would be nice to be able sort them from A-Z/0-9 by name or by number. Or by temperature (low to high or high to low. 2 - with 130 devices monitoring temperature. It would be nice to have been able to add them all first. Then select them all and adjust the alarm settings in one shot. I need to add at least 50 more sensors and doing them one at a time is a time consuming process. 3 - a “stay logged in” checkbox on the sign in page. Other than that I think the app and products are great and I have recommended it to many people. ### 3/5 — Works but you can’t swap out the battery when it dies. *2026-06-07, version 1.53.2* I have used these in most places I have lived in. They work great doe leak detection. I bought a moen flow shut off valve and don’t think I will be replacing the yo link again. They do work they have saved my family from thousands in insurance claims. ### 1/5 — Pure garbage! *2026-06-07, version 1.53.2* Half of my sensors have alerted me within one month of purchase and the app shows that the batteries are dead. It’s impossible to open the bottom to replace the battery on these units, so they are now basically junk in my house. The bad is you can never ever find what you need within this app, as there’s too many options and settings many which are not where you’d expect them. I’ve been a YoLink user for years and it’s exactly what I need. I highly recommend it to all. The app is utterly challenging to navigate. I set a notification a year+ ago to send a text message when a door is open, and I literally can not find where I’ve set this to stop receiving these messages. Of note, I work in software as a product manager, so I test usability day in and day out. Love love love Yolink, can not stand working within this app. ### 1/5 — Can’t read text. Also, it only works in portrait mode which is very unfriendly for an iPad. Continually having to reset my password and then it doesn’t work, locks after one password attempt. Defeats the purpose of remote checking when I cannot login. ### 1/5 — Why can’t they make any of this simple? *2026-08-19, version 1.54.2* App is terrible for setting up setting up basic alarms. Learning the functions of the door sensors, alarms, and fobs is counterintuitive and difficult, even for someone well versed in tech and smart homes. Almost 0 guides on how to use the app/setup alarms by the manufacturer other than individual YouTube videos about alarm strategies, scenes, etc, but nothing comprehensive that shows how to configure all these settings for the purpose of using the door sensors as alarms. Would definitely suggest going with a brand like Eufy or or Aqara. ### 1/5 — Adjusted itself *2026-08-12, version 1.54.2* For whatever reason the freezer thermostat alert settings changed themselves to 40-65 degrees so I wasn’t alerted. Very frustrating! ### 1/5 — Listen yo *2026-07-09, version 1.54.2* I can’t get the thermostats to work with Alexa, however the YoLink thermometers do work with Alexa. The thermostat options in YoLink are very limited. ### 1/5 — Unable to pair device *2026-06-28, version 1.54.1* Garbage. Have to return device because the developers broke the app with this release. Getting error message that says I need to enable location but that’s already been done. Tech support told me they’d have it fixed in 24 hours. That was almost a week ago. ### 1/5 — Buggy App! *2026-06-25, version 1.54.1* I bought these due to the decent reviews for the hardware, but the app itself is buggy. They are working through a known issue where the app asks you to enable location services even when you already have them enabled. I can’t get the hub to connect via WiFi or Ethernet. Yesterday, customer service said to re-download the app that afternoon since they would be pushing another update to fix the issue. Now they are telling me it won’t be fixed for 48 hours. I’m returning the hub and thermostats and uninstalling the app. Too bad…I really wanted to like this! ### 1/5 — Won’t connect *2026-06-24, version 1.54.1* Unable to set up Speakerhub. The young ladies who answer the phone are doing their best. But they don’t really know the Equipment. I’ve requested a call back three times.. By the way, I started pursuing this with your recommended plumber, Beagle Services. They don’t call back either. I have not been angry, or raised my voice or anything that would cause someone to not call back. Sorry, but your customer service sucks. I want nothing more than to be a happy customer. ### 1/5 — Alexa Linking *2026-06-15, version 1.53.2* I purchased a YoLink hub with a YoLink flex fob and tried to connect it to Alexa cause on Amazon it says “works with Alexa” WRONG!!!!! It works by accident I tried linking it with the button in the app and it says “coming soon” then why did you tell me works with Alexa so I go into the Alexa app and see button1 button2 button3 button4. So I think it did work WRONG AGAIN! It only dose the click action IF you find the loop hole but no double click no hold click so I lost half the uses!!!! All because Alexa thinks it’s a motion sensor through the loop hole!!! But it doesn’t even work correctly!!!! ### 1/5 — Spyware!! Avoid!! *2026-06-13, version 1.53.2* App needlessly forces you to turn on precise location services and tell them the exact name and location of your wifi router if you want to use a WiFi connection. Using direct Ethernet is a safer alternative. Other solutions rely on unreliable water flow sensors and false alarms. This is EXACTLY what I wanted. Ties directly to Ball Valve, so no need for plumbing work. And, leak sensors work great. It sends notifications AND can close valve even if power fails and no internet. I have NO ties to this company.
