Definitely would appreciate more levels. The puzzles are so much fun to figure out that you almost forget that you are murdering people 😂. To the people complaining about too many ads, what do you expect? It is a free high quality game the developers deserve to make money on it even if they make it free to us. ### 3/5 — Fun game but I had a bunch of glitches *2020-12-31, version 20.12.30* I really enjoyed this game but ultimately ended up just deleting it. I would watch ads for free lamps because I was stumped and I would have to watch 2-3 ads sometimes just to get the lamps I should’ve received with one video. Then I would get a hint but the hint wouldn’t work. It would tell me to tap something or move something and I could not get it to work. Disappointed because when it was working, it was great. ### 3/5 — Cute concept but... *2020-10-10, version 20.10.6* First, as an avid lover of death and all things creepy and cute, this game caught my attention. Add in a love of puzzles and I could see myself killing time with this... But THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY ADS. I can forgive a few here and there, but it’s literally EVERY LEVEL has me watching ads for weird Chinese palace harem drama games, Homescapes, or Merge (insert fantasy here). And that’s just to name a few. Ugh, talk about a mood killer. Also, it seems that the app crashes and can cause your phone (if you play it on iOS) to freeze or overheat. ### 4/5 — Cute but needs work *2020-09-18, version 20.9.16* Some fun puzzles but it reminds me of many games from the early 90s - click everywhere and see if something happens, try every item in your inventory to see if it reacts with everything on the screen. Sometimes you have to hit it just right, and on the phone, some of the items you pick up are too small to make out what they are supposed to be. Add a zoom to the items, be a little more lenient in interactions and it would be an improvement to a cute and fun game. Also - the “pick a prize” - yeah. Funny. No matter how many levels I never seem to randomly pick the top prize. I get it - wanna sell ads but just makes me hate the company. ### 4/5 — A few minor issues.. *2020-09-17, version 20.9.16* First, Me and my sister absolutely LOVE this game so much but my only issues with this game is 1. When I use a hint sometimes it will say I have to swipe a certain spot and it doesn’t work correctly l(which is sad ngl) 2. When I collect my hint point things it will show me a 20-35 second add every time I collect each and every torture section from the workshop 😭 other than those 2 problems we both love this game and I find it very addictive personally. Keep up the good work guys!! 🤩 ### 4/5 — LOVE IT!! *2020-09-06, version 20.9.3* I absolutely love this game. It’s so fun and it challenges your brain. I’ve already completed all the levels and have my workshop completed. I can’t wait for more levels soon. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but there are just way too many ads. The ads take away from the gaming experience and are really annoying. I would recommend this game to anyone except people without the patience to get through so many ads. ### 4/5 — Fun *2020-08-25, version 1.0.25* This game is fun. The puzzle feel to it makes it not feel so repetitive and keeps it fresh. Also being able to customize your reaper with skins is an added touch to. The only issue I have with the game is the ads.. they’re on every game and I understand they’re needed to fund the company that makes this game but they get annoying. When I just want to play the game I get ads after that every level or sometimes during upgrades. Other than that this game is great. ### 3/5 — Annoying *2020-08-25, version 1.0.25* Great game, very funny to play and you get some challenging levels. The biggest turn offs are all the ads, and how you ALWAYS get the lowest prize. You will see an ad after every level almost and after every fail you watch an ad. The lowest prize just pisses me off because it’s bs you can’t get the highest or even medium one. I don’t understand the point of that. It makes people want to stop playing, not keep playing. Overall: Great game, needs less ads, and to FIX LOWEST PRIZE ### 4/5 — Great Game, Annoying Ads *2020-08-24, version 1.0.25* As the title suggests, the game is actually really fun. It’s well thought out, and is truly a lot of fun. The only thing that stops me from giving the game 5 stars is the excessive amount of ads. I honestly close the game out after EVERY single level, as there is pop up advertisements after every level and after nearly any single function in the game. Would recommend the game for sure. Just would love for the ads to cut back a bit, as it’s more present than any other game I have played. ### 3/5 — Fun but has a lot of issues *2020-08-23, version 1.0.25* So the game is super fun, the issues are, first at the end of the round when you can “pick” your gift, no matter which one you pick it’s always the lowest so there’s no point. The game was frozen on a board (the one where the egg drops, I even used a hint and it wouldn’t work) so I updated the game and now it shows I completed boards I’ve never played, it’s making me play boards I’ve already played, and I lost the board I was on, hopefully it’ll come up at some point. Last problem is it’s loaded with ads. ### 3/5 — Alright Game but Needs Some Fixes *2020-08-22, version 1.0.25* Honestly I hate how this game spams ads. It doesn’t really make sense that you would have to watch an ad between redeeming hints in the workshop (something that is an idle way to collect hint tokens that one has already spent coins and ads to decrease time and increase the amount of tokens for each area) and the frequency that ads appear between levels or anything that you do. In the levels, however, there are some problems with finger tracking. I’ve had to use extra hints each time to figure out levels where I’ve touched and dragged a hundred times on the correct part. Once the hint is shown, there are times where I will drag and touch an additional 20-30 times before I can complete what the hint is showing me. Overall, it’s a fun logic game and I enjoy the level design but major tweaks need to happen. ### 4/5 — Fun Game, Confusing Sometimes *2020-08-21, version 1.0.25* I just caught up and finished all the levels. Ads aside, I think this is a fun puzzle game. Sometimes the logic is inconsistent so it can be confusing figuring out what the level wants you to do and that’s why I docked one star. For example, some levels require you to cut some ropes with your finger and other levels you are unable to. Like many have already said the ads were a bit excessive but I did enjoy the game decently so I bought the option to have no ads for $1.99 and it was worth it in my opinion. Overall it’s a fun casual puzzler. ### 4/5 — Nice game but way too many ads *2020-08-18, version 1.0.25* This game has a nice and fun concept where you try to to find out ways to kill people. It’s fun and all but I have one problem. 1. ADS: WAYYYY TOO MANY ADS! When I’m stuck on a level...I click the lightbulb and always have ads (obviously) and also have ads in general. When I click for more lightbulbs...they always show the same freaking ad!!!! Which is CANDY CRUSH! It annoys me soooo much. Also in general...without the lightbulbs and everything, there are way too many ads. I recommend to get this game if you are a patient person, because I’m not really of a patient person. ### 3/5 — Too random. Forces one to use Hints. *2020-08-17, version 1.0.24* Too much of the game doesn’t make sense. Level 41, how am I supposed to figure out that I have to lift the drum!? Half the game is aimlessly clicking around and it’s quite annoying. To click on something several times before it reacts and even then you still have to click on something else randomly for it to react...but wait, there’s more! Some things you have to slide or do other motions with. So now I’m clicking and sliding anything and everything until I solve a puzzle with little hints or clues. I feel a big help would be the hit box on things. I’ll click something and nothing, then I hit for a hint and now I can click it. What’s with that? Might just be me but yeah~ ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Good game but WAY TO MANY ADS *2021-01-10, version 20.12.30* You see it’s a very Fun game but there are WAY TO MANY ADS is it just me or do you have to watch like 3 ads to get past a level then one ad after that round thingy. It’s a good game. JUST FIX THE AD PROBLEM please. Plus it’s a total rip off you get at least if you play the game A LOT you get around 42 ads a day AT LEAST. Yep that’s a lot of ads I’d say the average rating on this app should be a solid 3.5 just cause there are way to many ads and you get the least amount of coins or bulbs when you get the 9 slot thing after you get three skulls. Plus the hints you should get at least 2 hints for 1 ad sometimes the ads are like 30 seconds long and then you get a trash hint or terrible stuff in the 9 slot thing. Again this game should be at least a 3.00. I changed my mind it should be a solid 3.8 it’s a TOTAL RIP OFF if you want a game like this go get a different one that doesn’t have an ad after every single round!!! Since you made it to the end of my rating I’ll tell you what my LAST name is it’s 𝚂𝙷𝙰𝙵𝙵𝙴𝚁 . ### 1/5 — Rude Developers *2020-08-29, version 1.0.26* I am stuck on a level right now due to a bug. When using my hints, I tried to follow a certain step, but the game does not respond to the move. I screen recorded the problem, informed the developer, and asked if my hints could be accordingly replenished, as I used my hints several times in attempt of fixing the problem. The developer plainly acknowledged the issue of the glitch but did not answer my question about giving me back the number of hints I used. I sent back an email asking the question for the hints again, and the developer has simply refused to respond. This is such immature and lousy treatment. Even one email acknowledging my question and politely refusing to replenish my hints is more professional than saying nothing at all. ### 1/5 — First time its a shame *2020-08-18, version 1.0.25* This is the first time i one stared a app it would be 0 just for wasting my time on a level tht didnt even do what it was supposed to even tho u got it all right. Yep im talking about i got up to 18 i seen vids on that you no spoilers but make everyone some how choke not saying what but yeah i set it all up and it didnt even do the action and normally i dont care about ads but lawd. No matter where you go my guy a ad pops up and you have to sit there waiting to end more lives while watching ad after ad after ad like its gone 0 stars if i paid money i would want the time spent on playing to get a glitch level and i restarted every time nothing works im still on tht level ### 1/5 — Don't waste your time!!!! *2020-08-16, version 1.0.24* This game here has to the WORST example for how to run ads in a game. I'd also have to give it the WORST example of how to reward players for anything. You get the lowest option when it come to picking your reward for completing a level. And even with that they pair it with ads to get the other options. Once you collect 3 skulls you're taken to a pick 3 of 9 chests screen where they make sure you don't get the grand prize EVER out of your 3. If you want extra tries, guess what, AD TIME. And even then you only get 3 more skulls that definitely won't give the skin. Time to watch ANOTHER ad. Only then to get the skin on your second to last chest. The gameplay is about a 6 out of 10 which far from enough to make up for the awful ad spam you'll have to sit through just to get to the next level. The game even throws an idle earning attempt just to throw ads at you as you try to collect your earnings. Though those ads are about a 1 in 4 chance for me. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. ### 1/5 — Boring and broken *2020-08-04, version 1.0.18* The game crashes constantly, and most over the elements don’t seem to work the first time you tap them, you’ll spend a lot of time aimlessly tapping around the screen trying to find something you can interact with only to use your hints and be directed to something you’ve already tried to interact with. And once you complete the level, boom, game crashes. This is a poorly crafted attempt at gaining revenue through ads and subscriptions. The game is not fun and doesn’t even function properly. Do t waste you time on it. 0/5 stars ### 2/5 — poor execution *2020-08-13, version 1.0.23* it’s a little disappointing especially after seeing what it seems like a really fun game, is just designed to consume ads and oh boy are there are a lot of them. Gameplay wise, it’s not doing so hot, it basically consists of trial and error with little to no hinting without the actual hint button. Resulting in the player just tapping around to look for something is bad game design to say the least. It’s such an interesting concept, written so poorly and so obviously just to make some quick cash with the excessive ads. It got me off the hook quickly. ### 2/5 — Cool concept but it’s a rip off *2020-08-05, version 1.0.20* I absolutely love the concept of this game. You have to think of creative ways to create accidents so you can reap souls. But this is clearly written by people who want to create as many reasons as possible for you to watch commercials instead of creating good gameplay. As someone else noted, the prize at the end of each round (where you choose between three cards) gives you the lowest prize every single time. This also happens when you collect three skulls and get 3 prizes from 9 cards... all three are the lowest prize from the 9 choices, every single time. Several rounds where I had already figured out how to kill all the people in the level, it wouldn’t let me perform the action until I used a clue (which requires me to watch a commercial). After I watched the commercial and unnecessarily used the clue, it would suddenly let me perform the action I’d just been trying to perform a dozen times. Such a shame. I really liked the concept that gave this puzzle game a quirky and morbid sort of fun. But it’s a sham where you spend more time watching commercials than actually playing. ### 2/5 — False RNG, ADS ADS ADS, and a good game. *2020-07-26, version 1.0.15* When you you have one of those “pick one of these 3/9” you’ll get the lowest possible. Every time. I’m on level 25ish, and it’s been a fact so far. New level? Ad. Restart? Ad. You want to collect the “hint points” or whatever from the “workshop”? Ads. For every single one. I can’t get through 5 minutes without being annoyed with it. Which is a shame because the game is actually really good. Buuuuut false rng and the immense amount of ads is enough for me to bring it from a 4/4.5 to a 1.5/2. Shame. ### 3/5 — Too Many Ads *2022-02-12, version 21.9.7* The gameplay itself is great! I’ve enjoyed playing it but there’s just too many ads! Retry a level? Ad. Look at your rewards? Ad. Start a new level? Ad. The worst part is the only option to remove them is $5 and it’s a pack with all the skins. I would prefer a cheaper option without all the extras. Although the gameplay was great, I have to stick to three stars because of that. ### 3/5 — Used to love the game, but *2021-01-11, version 20.12.30* At first, the game was fun. Consistently getting new free content, each level being different and more challenging than the last. They’re all extremely well developed and the art looks great. Now it’s been months since the last updates. It’s also become apparent that the game developers only really want money at this point. Every tap, it’s an ad. This causes me to forget what I’m doing half the time. If you want to play a challenge or one of those little memories, that you inadvertently will probably have to watch an ad while doing, it’s an ad. The challenges are fun, but I’m already watching countless ads just playing the regular levels, so it feels redundant. The only things the devs have worked on is things to deal with pay-to-play. That seems about it. I don’t know what changed behind the scenes, but this game went from one of my favorite ways to kill time to being extremely draining. Disappointing. I really liked the game and I’ve collected everything in the game and done everything, I enjoyed the concept how well they provided everything was great. I wouldn’t focus on the few negative written reviews. The only thing I have an issue with is that I’ve done everything and it doesn’t seem like they are adding anymore, I wish they would. The visuals on the game are so much fun, and the music and sound effects are perfect. I find myself leaving the volume on while playing just to hear the screams at the end of a level when you kill all the people on screen. 😂 The puzzles are challenging, but definitely not too hard. And when you upgrade the workshop it is really easy to earn enough bulbs for as many hints as you need. That is such a great feature! On behalf of game players everywhere...thank you so much for thinking of the players enjoyment instead of only earning extra money by making us pay for hints. Overall, very well done!!!!
