## What is Yonder?

Yonder is a phone game with ballistics validated against Doppler radar.

You range a target through a precision reticle, build the firing solution, dial or hold your elevation, read the wind, and send it. Then you watch the trace and see exactly where the round went.

The whole game is the first-round hit. No sighters. No walking it in. Just the cold bore shot, as many times as you want, anywhere, in any conditions you choose.

DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT. BRING YOUR DATA.
Yonder runs a Modified Point-Mass solver with G7 drag, real atmospheric modeling, spin drift, Coriolis, and aerodynamic jump. It is validated against Hornady's 4DOF Doppler model to within 0.02 mil on multiple match loads out to 1,100 yards. At 1,000 yards that is under three-quarters of an inch.

Check it against your own DOPE book, line by line. If our numbers don't match the ones you have for your rifle, we want to hear about it.

COLD BORE, THE DAILY
One shot. Everyone gets the same one. No second tries. Hit it, keep your streak, and see where you landed against everyone else who took it today.

THE SKILLS
• Range unknown-distance targets off the reticle, then dial or hold the come-up.
• Read the crosswind and hold or dial your windage.
• Keep the rifle level with the on-screen bubble (it reads your phone's tilt).
• Every skill has its own switch (wind, cant, advanced drift), so you can isolate the exact thing you want to drill.

THE GEAR
• Scope bodies from a 1-10x LPVO to a 5-45x, with true first-focal-plane zoom.
• A reticle library built from published subtensions: mil-dot, tree grids, fine mil rulers, chevron BDCs, and a clean hunting duplex.
• A full cartridge and load library with DOPE cards, plus in-app BC truing for your exact handload.

MORE WAYS TO SHOOT
• Know-Your-Limits, Texas Star, PRS Skills, and Speed Steel stages.
• Hunting scenarios on big-country habitat backdrops.
• Hostage and no-shoot discipline targets.
• DOPE-from-memory, wind-call, and max-point-blank-range fundamentals drills.
• Shot-clock pressure with per-scenario stats.
• Head-to-head pass-and-play on a single device.

THE ACADEMY
Takes you from "what is a mil" to reading a DOPE card and calling wind. Dozens of lessons across eight units, with graded gates and a final capstone shot. No account required.

FREE AND PRO
The core loop is free: practice, fundamentals drills, the daily, and Academy foundations. Yonder Pro unlocks the full scope, reticle, and cartridge library, every drill and stage, and custom loads.

Yonder Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime unlock. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

PRIVACY
No ads and no account. Your profiles, scores, and progress live on your device, and the trainer runs fully offline. The daily board uses an anonymous handle. Usage stats are anonymous and are never linked to you, tracked across apps, or sold.

IMPORTANT
Yonder is a training and entertainment simulator. It is not a firing solution for live fire. Always verify real-world data against your own equipment, conditions, and a qualified source.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-07

Fixes an issue where the Yonder Pro purchase sheet showed "Store unavailable" and no plan could be purchased. If you tried to buy Pro and could not, it works now.

Also carries everything since 2.0: Pine Meadow II is the new meadow, the windage turret panel closes properly again, and a set of 3D scene fixes.

### 2.0 — 2026-08-26

This is the biggest update since launch. The sight picture is now a full 3D world with real terrain and depth, and every target sits at its true angular size. Two ranges ship in this version, Pine Meadow and Aspen Park.

Shot feedback got a major upgrade. Misses kick up a plume of dust at the point of impact, so you can spot your splash and correct for the next shot. Hits on animals are marked where they land, green for vitals and red for a wound. And when you ring steel at distance, the clang comes back late, because the delay is computed from the bullet's real time of flight and the speed of sound. What you hear at 900 yards is what you would hear at 900 yards.

The muzzle report now depends on the cartridge, from the sharp crack of a 5.56 to the deep blast of a magnum, with a low concussion thump that scales with the load's actual recoil energy.

There is a new optional range flag. Fly it and the wind chip stops telling you the speed: you read it off the cloth, the way it is done on a real range.

Reticles that ship in a real scope now carry an AS-BUILT tag, pairing them with the true magnification range and field of view of the glass they come in. Ammo validated against Doppler radar data is marked in the library.

There is also a new tool that finds the best zero for your BDC reticle and lets you shoot the marks to verify it, plus a cleaner HUD, faster scene switching, and dozens of small fixes.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-14

The view through the scope got a big upgrade.

• Watch your bullet's path: a clear vapor trace hangs in the air on the way to the target, and steel hits kick up dust that drifts with the wind. Hard-hitting cartridges rock the plate and its stand.
• The OPTICS and AMMO menus were rebuilt. Browse reticles by class, search the whole library, save favorite combos, and always see exactly what you have mounted and loaded.
• New reticle detail screens show the published subtension specs our designs match, and you can request the reticle you want added next.
• A new 1.5-12x scope body joins the lineup.
• Texas Star now runs out to 800 yards, with wobble that honors your steadiness setting.
• A cleanup pass on the HUD: readouts and drill displays moved off the sight picture and into the bezel.

Free update. Fully offline, no account, as always.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-27

Online play is getting a major upgrade and will return as its own release. Meanwhile this update brings a cleaner, reorganized optics menu, a new coyote target, and a batch of fixes, including one that could leave you unable to fire after taking the daily shot.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-24

No release notes.
