If a bright red farm hat isn’t what it looked like at the time, there’s no instruction on how to tone it down…or change it to BROWN. My enhanced & colored photos still have writing all over the two that I’ve tried so far. I can’t remove the words on the edges of the pic. I want to send them for my brother’s 80th birthday on FB, but I’m unable to get the photo (w the improvements) back into my album so I can share to FB. Where are there instructions for using this app? How can I tone down the color & make my brother’s jeans, not be colored pink? Is there help line for questions? Thank you! ### 2/5 — Not as Good as Ratings Suggest *2026-07-18, version 4.2* I paid for a week’s worth of use of this app for $10, and used it very heavily for that week primarily on some old black and white photos I obtained from a negative scanner. The results were real hit or miss. Occasionally, you will get a solid face enhancement or scratch remover. The restoring function turns the picture into something completely different. More often than not, the people you start with bear only a passing resemblance to the people in the picture. As for the colorization feature, sometimes you do get a really good result. However, most of the time — regardless of the level of AI you use, skin coloring is way off. The app oftentimes colors bare skin a light/darkish gray color that looks like the skin of a corpse that has been dead for a year. I had to use Photoshop Express to manually fix these colorings. Priced at $10 PER WEEK, this app is not worth it. I would pay $10 total FOR the app, but no more. There is also the problem of the advertised “turbo” mode on the free version. It says that if you pay for the app you will get turbo processing mode. This is frankly misleading. Regardless of whether I used a feature on the paid version or the free version, each time I processed a picture it said it was processing it at “regular speed”. And there was no actual difference in the processing speed between the free and paid versions. Another issue with the free version is that it says you have to watch “AN ad” to process your picture. AN ad invariably means TWO very long ads. Unfortunately, I find the pricing structure frustrating and, frankly, somewhat predatory. The weekly plan is $9.99/week, which works out to $519.48 per year, while the annual plans shown in the app are as low as $39.99–$49.99/year. That is an enormous difference. I didn’t realize I was being charged weekly after my trial ended. I would absolutely consider the app worth the annual subscription price, but discovering that I had been paying $9.99 every week left me feeling taken advantage of. It’s a shame because I genuinely like the app. But when the pricing feels designed to catch people who don’t notice the weekly renewal, it makes me reluctant to continue using it on principle. ### 1/5 — Bad App *2026-08-17, version 4.4* First, I used a photo of my grandmother, your app did noting to restore it, then you wanted me to buy your app before I could try it again. I had a baby picture of my 47-year-old daughter with her dad, who has now passed away. When it made the corrections and popped up with the finished photo, it took my breath away. This is simple to do and the results are astonishing. I am so excited to restore more of my old photos which have just been shoved into shoeboxes, under my bed, for years! They look even better than the originals did in the 1970s and 80s. I bought the annual plan, and the cost of it is negligible, considering the results!
