The translations are completely off.

Like one stated, Eshu is not the devil.

Esu is not the devil. Improper translation. There is no word in Yoruba for devil. Nor should it be because it’s a European concept. Just use the word devil for devil.

I’m of Nigerian origin and have studied Yoruba up to university level. At least over half of the translations on this app are not correct

Thank you so much to the developers of this app!! This app is perfect for those who want to learn/become fluent in the beautiful language that is Yoruba. It has a comprehensive translation dictionary as well as quizzes so you can test yourself. It has been so helpful to me. Would def recommend :)
