It had its kinks but overall was reliable for ordering my food… until today. Upon opening the app, I was prompted to update it, so I did. When I’m able to open the app again, I’m directed to a “Complete Your Profile” page where I have to enter my phone number and birthday. I’m not optimistic at this point because it looks like a registration page and I’m not seeing any way to get to where I can just login using my existing account. There’s no back button or any redirect to another page for existing users. Only toggles for notifications and promos and a “Save Changes” button. When I tap on “Save Changes” it tells me “Oops! Phone has already been taken” which I anticipated, but Yoshinoya this is bad design and your app is completely inaccessible now. ### 1/5 — You don’t need my birthday!!! *2026-06-19, version 5.2* Deleted the app after they required your birthday. My personal go to meal is the 8.99 meal deal seeing as how it’s affordable and keeps me going through the day. I usually do two of these meals a day since it’s across the street from my job. Nobody should be sleeping on this deal when you’re low on money but still seeking a nutritionist meal. Shout out to the cashier Christopher who greets the customers with an amazing work ethic. As well as the ladies in the back making and preparing this wonderful food. What yoshinoya does differently then other food places is they know it’s hard times right now and people are low on cash but are still hungry.
