## What is You Can Sing?

Practice your singing skills, whether you're a complete beginner, a professional, or anything in between. Use one of the 100+ bundled exercises, create your own with the app's midi-editor, share them with the community, or play exercises created by the community. You'll receive a score after each exercise, so that you can follow your progress and see weak points in you singing. There are many customization options available, so we encourage you to make the app feel like your own, whether visually, or behaviorally. Book lessons are also available.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-21

New
• Time Spent Singing: double-tap the practice calendar on the Home tab to open a full screen with a chart of how long you sang each day. Choose your own date range, or pick the past week, month, year or all time.
• The exercise intro screen now shows how long the exercise takes, all repetitions included.
• Tap the tempo in the bottom right corner of the note editor to change it with a slider, right in the editor.
• Tap the preview at the top of an exercise's settings to open the note editor.
• The sliders in Settings > Visuals > Playback now show their value as a percentage while you drag them.

Improvements
• Recommended exercises keep up with your progress faster: great scores raise your skill level sooner, and your recent practice counts the most.
• Text labels on your notes now shrink when they would overlap other text, in the note editor and during playback.
• The note editor now opens with your notes centered on screen.
• Harmony notes on the same pitch can no longer overlap.
• A loading indicator now shows while more exercises load on someone's profile.
• Closing the tutorial early now asks before skipping it, with a tip: press and hold almost anything in the app for a short explanation.
• The microphone permission prompt now appears in your device's language.

Fixes
• Canceling a new text label in the note editor no longer marks the exercise as edited.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-10

HARMONIES
52 new exercises for singing in tune while other voices play around you: drones, chord tones, duets, canons, counterpoint, three-part harmony, blues and barbershop. In most of them your own note is only cued at its start, so staying in tune is up to your ear.

GHOST NOTES
The MIDI editor has a new ghost note tool. Ghost notes are played but never sung or scored, so you can build your own harmony exercises.

STEADIER PITCH LINE
Choose how your voice is tracked in Settings > Voice > Pitch Detection: fastest, balanced or most accurate. Balanced is the new default and draws a steadier line.

RECOMMENDED
• The Recommended card now shows how long the session takes.
• Your recommended exercises stay the same while you practice and only refresh after you've been away for 20 minutes. Use the new reload button on the intro screen to get a new set sooner.

MORE IMPROVEMENTS
• Automatic microphone delay is more reliable: it now averages your last 15 exercises.
• The exercise view now always follows the notes up and down.
• Downloaded community exercises keep the difficulty rating of the original.
• Delete Everything now also resets the category order in the Exercises tab.
• Bug fixes.
