Which is the constant ad breaks. My issue with the app is whenever I stream the app on my phone to my TV. I lose video quality. Not anymore. No support *2025-08-20* Been using it for a year or so. There are some kinks, but recently updated and now it doesn’t work at all. And I paid for the year service and now I can’t use it all. No response from support either, good thing I didn’t buy the lifetime. They even start asking for me if I want to buy a year again, I still have 10 months left, but once I updated it, it didn’t remember I paid or something. Idk no one has gotten back to me yet. When it worked it was pretty cool except: if you minimize and turn off your phone display then turn it back on the video doesn’t show, just hearing the audio. So that’s annoying if you put your phone in your pocket, but then take it out to see what it happening on the video. You have to maximize the video and either rewind or fast forward to get the picture back. **Developer response:** Thank you for your interest. When I open the app, it’s got a video ad. When you enter the app there’s a pop up ad. When I click the YouTube icon it’s got an ad. When I pause the YouTube video, it’s got an ad. even while watching the YouTube video, it’ll just randomly cut out and go grey for another ad to pop up. I have to re-enter the app to click a button to continue the video, which can also be fiddly because sometimes it just sort of doesn’t and I have to reload the page/close and reopen the youpip tab, by which point I have to redo the whole process of constant ads again. please do not download this app. It is a waste of time. ### 1/5 — broken *2025-07-15* I think it's intentionally broken. It first asks your language, then asks you something about notifications and personalized ads. Thank you ### 1/5 — Ads *2025-06-10, version 2.8* Having an ad or two is fine but if you download this, you get greeted with a subscription box you have to manually click out of, leading to an overly invasive unskippable 30 second ad. You have to click x multiple times just to get out of it. And then when you click on one of the icons, half the time you get another equally as invasive ad. Everytime you leave the app and go back on it, you get another ad. If you use the multiplayer window and leave the app then go back on it to change video, another ad. If you click on the home button to go back to the options, another ad. This app is perfect if you love ads. It used to have a decent amount but idk what’s happened, it’s unusable and I genuinely don’t want to open it anymore.
