Great for sitting back and reading, writing, relaxing or just getting focused. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Disappointed. *2015-04-29* I found a loop in the White Noise which is a big minus for this app as loops immediately jolt me fully awake just when I'm about to fall asleep! I had to pay to hear the white noise too, which is a big shame because I wouldn't have paid if I knew there was a loop. Wide choice of sounds that you can blend to your own preferences. Really helps me sleep or relax while working, depending on the sound combinations I choose. Can’t recommend it enough. I have tried everything to fall asleep, tried the Dow dow thing, I tried sleeping pills melatonin and none of them have helped, I got this, and literally the first night it worked absolutely amazing...I personally don't care for thunderstorms or rain, so I don't use that on, but I have to admit it is some really good audio, and my absolute personal favorite is the ocean waves with the fire, I love fire and the ocean so there's nothing better, and you can adjust the sound for whatever you want and how loud you want it too...even better if you use surround sound or a Bluetooth speaker...my family loves the ocean sound whenever we are at a hotel or traveling, and they don't struggle like I do, but they fall asleep even faster too. I’m really not sure I would’ve made it through writing my dissertation for my PhD without it! The ability to layer the different sounds has allowed me to create the PERFECT ambience needed for writing and for grading papers. I use the coffee shop layered with the fireplace, and I’ll occasionally add rain and/or thunder. There is a spot in the coffee shop recording where you can hear the loop start over, but it doesn’t really bother me. I love that I can’t understand any of the words in the coffee shop recording—I often wonder if it’s not in English—but this really makes it better than an actual coffee shop, where I’m sometimes distracted by the conversations going on around me. Other than my photo and calendar apps, I would say this is the most valued, appreciated app on my phone. Extremely happy and thankful to have found it!
