My current two wont work in my local shop 🙄. I can’t use same email or house details as it won’t let me , but it won’t accept the same log in details on all apps. Why can’t cooop be like Tesco , one card for one company ### 1/5 — No vouchers yet! *2023-12-29* I have spent over £250 buying petrol from coop station in the last couple of months, and I scan my membership card each time and unbelievably the app is saying that I don’t have a single voucher to spend??!! Not even £1. This cannot be right? If it is, why am I bothering with the membership?? If this is a problem with the app then it needs to be resolved, otherwise clearly coop are extremely stindgy and I won’t be buying petrol there anymore. ### 2/5 — Pointless app *2023-12-20* What is the point of having an app to download and install if every time it’s opened it wants to open a webpage to log in and most of the features are there. Even just looking at rewards .. yep, open a webpage and login to see them! Seriously, get real! Absolutely pointless. I may as well just keep an online account and use that! Thanks, but I’ll stick with Tesco and uninstall this pointless waste of time. I guess that means not shopping at the local co-op either. ### 2/5 — No longer works with Apple wallet *2023-11-19* Previous version used to add membership card to Apple wallet just fine, then had a version that offered it but didn’t actually work while newest version doesn’t seem to even offer that and takes several minutes to get to card screen when opened which is very annoying while standing at checkout queue trying to find the card to swipe ### 1/5 — Not loading *2023-10-31* The app worked fine until recently when they ‘updated’ the app. Now it’s not an app it just reroutes to an internet browser all the time for whatever you click on. I was supposed to have vouchers to use in store but you can’t get the app to open them you just get a ‘bad gateway’ message. Spend lots of money with you to get extra vouchers at the end of the year that you can’t use. What a waste of time. ### 1/5 — Your Coop app *2023-10-28* Once a year I am supposed to receive coop vouchers for using coop then octopus energy. This app is a nightmare to use and has problems logging in, saying wrong password, saying you dont have an online account when you do. If you do get in after a password reset the voucher barcodes wont download and the coop staff always request the managers help. This year 2023 I have been to 2 local coop stores to try and spend the vouchers and walked away buying nothing twice. Coop staff always try and be helpful but this app is a pain in the …….. ### 4/5 — Problems fixed! [v2.0.0 has broken the app] *2023-10-24* Have edited my review to reflect the fixes put in place which have solved my problems. Well done for fixing but hopefully avoid messy launches in future. Standard app for viewing deals and points accrued, pretty and good functionality. [Since the recent update, the app appears to have broken. The different tabs of the app only open browser pages of their website, which defeats the point of the app. In addition, the functionality of being able to add the card to your Apple wallet has stopped working, and ‘share of the profits’ voucher barcodes don’t load, so can’t be used. Surprised the version was released if it’s this riddled with bugs/underdeveloped.] ### 1/5 — Not good *2023-10-24* Since the update, this app is so hard to navigate, also voucher barcodes were not visible, I had to uninstall and re-install the app several times in order to view my voucher barcodes, as a current employee at Miscounties coop, the amount of customers who have had the same issue is astounding. I know they’re working on resolving it but not all our customers are tech savvy enough to understand what to do in order to view their vouchers. Also why can we not use our vouchers on the Self serve tills? It’s absolutely ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Deleted as useless *2023-10-12* The update/relaunch for this app has made it useless to me. As other reviewers have mentioned it’s now essentially a skin for directing you to web pages. As I live in a rural area with poor mobile access the pages freeze, go blank or never load. I only used the app to check on available discounts and my collected points. Now those first 1000 points are apparently to be donated to unknown charities it’s easier to walk to the shop and check daily discounts in store! App deleted. ### 1/5 — Dreadful downgrade *2023-10-01* My goodness. I know launching a new app can have its moments but whatever happened to quality assurance? This app made me log in to a series of web pages (3 times) for different parts of the app. It then showed my vouchers and told me that to redeem it I should simply show the barcode. No barcode visible. I really was hoping for a great upgrade - but this jumble of an app skin and endless webpages that don’t share session info (even if you accept ALL cookies, and you should only need to accept essential and functional) is just hopeless. Come on Co-Op. Look at how the competition do it. Seamless, functional and without endless cookie permission requests.
