## What is Your Cockpit?

Cockpit turns your phone /tablet into a universal remote. You can control your multimedia or lighting shading etc from your IPHONE/TABLET from a customized interface to fit your specific needs. 
It is clear to all why a universal remote control is needed - simplify the operation of multimedia systems so anyone can use them, Reduce amount of remote controls etc.
But even the universal remote: runs out of batteries, gets lost, has an interface  in English only, and has so many buttons you don’t need and adds that much complexity, is in English.
Cockpit takes the universal remote to the next level:
*  It runs on any mobile phone or tablet.
* The interface is designed specifically for your needs, no obsolete buttons.
* It can be customized to the need of the owner (different interface for you mother and your 13 years old son…)
* You can use your own language.
* You don’t need eye contact (you don’t have to aim your remote at the TV), in fact you don’t even have to be in the same room with the devices you control.

Cockpit controls devices through the internet. In the age of "internet of thing" more and more devices will have the ability to be controlled via the internet.

But you don’t have to wait until then. Through third party gateways, you can control your multimedia -TV, AV receiver, stop box, projector, Blu-ray etc,  but also  lighting, shades to create your own smart home.

Variable Expressions:
Math for Your Cockpit. Get creative and use math with variables to make your remote do things you never thought possible.

Toggle Image:
Assign multiple Selected state images so that each time a button is pressed, a different image will toggle. Similar to how toggle commands currently work, when a button is pressed, the image will toggle and commands will be sent.

Panel Lock:
Need to keep kids out of certain panels? Want to offer only some users access to the full remote? Lock individual panels with a PIN code.
