But overall I love the game it’s just that one thing. ### 4/5 — Need help! *2025-09-11* I think the concept is very good, being a book lover this game incorporates the best of two worlds. I only have a small problem….. still in chapter one and I am trying to get in the mansion. Problem is the postcard is a white blank sheet that cannot be read. Also the word ‘key’ is greyed out ( I have the key) and no amount of clicking on the word will open it. Have tried deleting and reinstalling without success. The art and sound design is great, and the puzzles are a good level of challenging but intuitive. I also really appreciate that there’s an actual progressive hint system that begins with really vague hints just to get you thinking instead of revealing the answer instantly. This is really rare in adventure games ### 4/5 — Won’t play on my iPad. *2025-04-06* All that happens is that I get a screen that says ‘Hicksville boarding school, I’m an idiot’ and that’s it. I can’t find any interactive place on the screen. I closed and reopened, deleted and reinstalled, deleted and powered off and on again and reinstalled and same thing. I tried tapping all over and swiping every which way. Am I missing something? Update: thanks, dev! I see it now. I guess I tapped on most everything but those words. It’s sadly not my cup of tea with so much reading, but it looks like a good game if you like that sort of thing. I was glad that it gave some hints as it was getting harder and harder. I love the music and the story as well. I think $6 for a whole game is worth it and I totally recommend this game. The only reason i took 1 star off is some hints were kind of ambiguous, not very helpful. I looked up the answer to the safe in the study, and nothing happened when I turned the knobs based on the paintings. Les énigmes ne sont pas forcément faciles mais si on aime les jeux un peu tarabiscotés, on sera heureux. On peut aussi s’aider de sites de personnes ayant terminé le jeu si les indices ne suffisent pas (ça m’est arrivé deux trois fois mais je n’ai pas trouvé cela gênant).
