Everything is so small and doesn’t read well. The old app face was clear, graphically attractive. The new one reads black with indecipherable writing. Why??? ### 1/5 — New app *2025-08-13* Not liking. Have to open every time and click through more to get to page for classical. Can’t find playlist. Loved opening a the current playlist was there. ### 2/5 — Recent update *2026-03-26* The app was perfect before with a easy to use interface and selection system. Now its so small to select something plus for it to load in most of the time to select. Also not a fan of the constant asking to sign in when opening the app, I liked the older way where that was a user's choice but not a major concern upfront, the music was.... major step backwards in user usability ### 2/5 — New (improved)? *2025-11-24* I was surprised when the app was updated in July(?) as I was very happy using the version I’d used for so long. But I don’t see it as an improvement as in the previous one I could also see who the performer was. The scroll just lists the composer and title. Maybe I’m missing something, but how can I find out who the performers are? ### 2/5 — Glitch in update *2025-08-21* The music continues to play when I receive a phone call. Very problematic when I’m driving. It also stays on when I make a call and will come back on even if I have stopped it when I make a call. I hope this can be fixed. ### 2/5 — Bugs, Bugs *2025-07-19* So the app is new, but why won’t it connect to Sonos speakers as the previous app did? Furthermore, the Feedback feature generates a long error message so there’s no way to announce the problem. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback regarding Sonos connection issues. We recently rolled out an update to the app that includes Airplay within the app. You should be able to now connect to your Sonos speakers via Airplay 2. ### 3/5 — Recent update *2026-04-08* Thank you for returning pixel and plot and fixing the constant asking for log in. But please fix the stream selection to be bigger for accessibility especially on iPad versions it’s way too small and and is completely dwarfed by the huge in app banner. ### 3/5 — Car play issues *2025-11-12* Originally it was our goto app for music. Recently, however, the app closes as soon as any other app is chosen in certain pay - such as returning to your gps program. Using the most recent iOS and pp version. Note that the app can be played from the iPhone and car play will play- but no control of the app, pausing etc. ### 3/5 — Some channels not in stereo *2023-05-20* The programming on these channels is superb. However, three of the channels are not playing in stereo. The main “Your Classical” feed, the Favorites feed, and Choral feeds are all monaural. ### 4/5 — What happened Pixel & Plot *2026-03-27* This most recent app update removed the Pixel & Plot stream which I listen to daily on this app in my car. May God bless you and your families. ### 5/5 — Great app for listening to so many different sub genres of classical music *2025-09-03* Many people don’t realize they’re listening to essentially classical compositions while being entertained by television shows, movies, and video games. This is a great app that lets you choose whatever sub genre of music you want to listen to at the moment, for whatever you’re trying to accomplish. Oh, wait… *2025-07-18* At 4AM I saw the text that MPR was changing its App and I would no longer have access to my Christmas music 24/7 (or so I thought) PANIC!! (I had stumbled upon this music two years ago and don’t know how I managed to capture it. I must have pushed the correct buttons in order to save it. You see, I’m a dinosaur. Yes, one of the Baby Boomers with less understanding of computers and cell phones than any Newbie. No children to call upon so I fumble my way thru modern life.) Imagine my joy and relief when I followed the prompt and downloaded the Classical option and THERE! my beloved Christmas music! And look! So many new options as well. Have been listening to yourclassical literally everyday for the past 3+ years. We use the lullabies station (now called ‘sleep’) for bedtime routine for our son and the children’s station occasionally during the day. My only wish is that the (occasional) ads would match the quiet of the lullaby station so not to disturb the drifting babies. Otherwise perfect! Loving the side tabs for ease of changing the stations - now I can go ahead and delete all my bookmarks. ### 5/5 — So glad *2022-01-11* That MPR has made a stand alone classical app ### 5/5 — Best Classical Station *2021-10-26* Y’all gotta step up your classical game with this app. The tunes are fire on here and who doesn’t like feeling productive while listening to music. I used to just use the website version of this but boy have I seen the light now. A glorious app version has been made and little did I know about it until now. I can listen anywhere and anytime, even with my phone turned off! This app slaps so download it please.
